Looks like a good game, but I don't know if this and FFT are enough to get me to buy a PSP.

Look good, but too bad for me it is on the PSP. (Can't they just make a home console/PC version of it with better graphics?)
So basically this game is like.. what came before the FF7 story that we all know?

You cannot hope to build a better world without improving the individuals. To that end each of us must work for his own improvement, and at the same time share a general responsibility for all humanity, our particular duty being to aid those to whom we think we can be most useful. -Marie Curie
What's with Square-Enix releasing FF7 storyline games with only the obscure characters? First we have Dirge of Cerebus, which follows the story of a completely optional character, and now they're making a game with Zack in it.
The game itself looks pretty decent, and the graphics are amazing for PSP, but... meh... talk about milking an idea for all its worth...
I agree is being milked too much, but hey, as long as is not AS bad as DoCOriginally Posted by Genma

Actually, I don't think Zack should be considered an "obscure" character at all. In fact, if it wasn't for him, we probably wouldn't've had an FF7 in the first place. Wasn't Cloud, our protagonist, confused about his personality with this very same man? Zack is the character I was most interested about, more than anyone else because it was his person who Cloud's journey in VII was based on. And now with the upcoming game we get to learn more about his life, the guy who actually had a major part in FF7 without taking much of the credit.
I do agree, however, that they went a little too far in milking the franchise with DoC. That or they could've just done the entire game better. But I am most excited about Crisis Core; to finally get a glance at how the first game came about.
