Maybe arrancar mature over time? And since Orihime's healing powers deal with reversing something to a previous time, maybe she can do the opposite and fast forward his growth? Theory doesn't sound very possible, but hey doesn't hurt.

I don't understand why Aizen doesn't just turn Orihime into one of his demi-hollows with the Hougyoku. We already know it works to turn hollow into Arrancar and Shinigami into...vaizard? (It's been a while, I don't remember all the details perfectly). It would ensure that she'd stay with him, and couldn't be taken back to her friends.

Then again, we don't know how that might affect her abilities, or if it's even possible at all, since she's not a spirit the same way they are. I really hope that Grimmjaw is going to do something interesting with her. So far, this arc has mostly been fights that haven't really accomplished anything.

i dont remember anyone mentioning that that huogyoku was used to create teh vizards. as far as we know, they're all 'natural' creations like ichigo. only arrancars have ben created using the huogyoku. We also dont know if it can be used on humans, and if it can, i dont think it'll make then into demi-hollows any more then it can turn them into shinigami.

It could somehow boost or alter thier powers though, since that's the only aspect thats similar to hollows/shinigami

Way back when Aizen was taking it out of Rukia, he mentions that it can be used to "Hollowify" Shinigami, and "Shinigami-ify" Hollows. Urahara created it to blur the lines between Hollow and Shinigami. It's in episode 61 of the anime (since I can check those faster), I'm not sure what chapter it would be in. That is what left me with the suspicion that it could be used on any being, even potentially humans outside of their regular world.

Yeah but wouldnt that be a strange combination? Human/Hollow/Shinigami or in an another order.

But I think it would be quite possible to use it on a normal human. Chad isn't a spirit but he has amazing powers. Ok they resemble the power of a hollow so would that turn him into something Arrancar like?

I'm surprised how Aizen hasn't thought of killing her first, or at least separating her soul from her physical body.

Either that, or he does indeed have something more delectable up his sleeve.

i dont know how i could miss a chapter but i couldn't think of what ishada was doing or where he had been. I'd like him to kill that espada in one shot but i dont think thats going to happen.

I think i was right last week when i said that we wouldn't be seeing ichigo for a couple of weeks, 274 will most likely be all about ishada / grimmjow.

if only that's not true but i don't see why it should be...it's the same in all animes...the hero comes to the rescue when all have fallen and we know ichigo...he won't die instead he will jump into his inner world argue with his crazy-style hollow and return strong enough to keep going for a few chapters
