Talk about dumb criminals, and on top of that, he let his victim go. I guess he was really satisfied with his new PlayStation 3 that's about to be taken away from him.

Hopefully a couple hundred of them will slice in just the right place.

Nothing of value will be lost.

With his money i'd probably hire a whole bunch of bodyguards to keep the crazies away from me, sure it might be annoying not being able to walk around without them but i'd still prefer the bodyguards over the lunatics that scratch open their necks and and want me to suck their blood...

i don't get what he's gonna do with 100 copies. I guess try to sell them, but I'd imagine that'd get him caught fairly easily. Though I can see how going through all of that for just 1 personal copy would seem pretty stupid.. but then, 1 copy wouldn't be grand larceny. I mean, 1 copy would be petty larceny, yet that 7k is gonna get him some time...

Jellyfish swarm northward in warming world

Anyone else tried jellyfish? It's surprisingly "crunchy".

It's a confirmed entry for cold dish appetizer in almost all banquets here.

'Fat for cosmetics' murder suspects arrested in Peru

My local news channel said that one guy confessed that this shit's been happening for 30 years.

Must you really kill for fat? Come down to Australia or go over to USA. Fat is the byproduct of our life style. Take all you want.

Man awakes from 23 year long coma, conscious entire time

The guy lay there...doing nothing. 23 years.

That's longer than I have been alive. I cannot wrap my head around that.

<@Terra> he told me this, "man actually meeting terra is so fucking big", and he started crying. Then he bought me hot dogs

Sadly many of us who do not suffer from such conditions continue to spend our lives in a persistent vegetative state. I know I personally spent about 10+ hours this weekend playing CoD:MW2. There should be some kind of help for people like me.

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

Best case scenario is that if you play it so much and for so long, and you end up in a 20 year coma, you can have it memorized and "play" it for decades without interruption.

Honestly though, I can't imagine spending even a week completely trapped in my own head without any sensory stimuli.

Maybe the nurses were all hot, so he had that to think about. Of course, they probably don't visit the coma ward more than a couple times a day. Those nurse-less intervals would be long indeed.

Wow. Trapped in your own head for more than twenty years. That would drive anyone insane. I hope this guy is receiving counseling now.
