HOwever it was odd seeing him playing a NDS in a little scene lol.
I was just about to link to that, Zabuza. Everyone should watch that documentary. It's really great and seems really unbelievable at first, but then when his abilities are put to the test you find out they fall in a much more realistic range. That's from about 8:02 onward in Part 2.

And yeah, that story about the DS is probably bullshit.

Obama finally gets around to ending "Don't Ask, Don't Tell". He's out to earn that peace prize after the fact. Good on him.

He hasn't ended it. He hasn't even taken the first step towards ending that backwards policy. He just promised he'd do something about it. A promise from a politician does little to help the homosexuals forced into the closet in order to serve in the armed forces.

Making it a priority and making a public announcement that he wants to end it is taking the first step. Making it salient is the best thing he can do right now, and his promise to make good on his campaign promises is better than ignoring the issue altogether.

He's the president, not a dictator. I don't know the process behind ending the policy, but he can't just change things willy nilly on a whim.

If I was president my first act would be to declare myself dictator and rule with an iron fist.

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

I know I'll separate you from your life if you question my omnipotence. Bow before me! Oh yeah, official language would be Japanese, and everyone is required to be within 5% of their ideal weight for their body type and size, or you get sent to the slave mines to assist you with compliance.

It'll hurt our economy if 80% of the population is working in the slave mines.

The other 20% will be so productive that the loss of the productivity of the 80% will be negligible. Plus since 80% of the population is in the slave mines, we won't need that much output to support the well-to-do 20%. Those who meet mandated guidelines for body/weight/height will be released from the mines anyway.

That's mostly the point, as they are sent there to shape up or die. Plus the slave mines will produce all the textiles and products that are currently made by China. It's win-win for my administration.

Alright. Unless I can read from a reputable news source that Animeniax is the new dictator of the USA, let's keep this thread a bit more free of that fantasy. This is supposed to be about discussing real news.

I want to play a game.

In the spirit of Saw VI coming to theaters near you, 18-year-old kid saws off his own leg.

    So hardcore.

I don't really want to imagine what it would feel like to try to amputate your own leg with a hoe and a trowel only to find out you can't cut through the bone. If nothing else, that dude had real nerves of steel.

well, i don't live there, but since The Governator went and signed OVER 400 NEW BILLS INTO LAW TODAY, I figured it should at least give us a glimpse of what's going on in part of America.

Over 400 bills signed into law by Gov. Schwarzenegger

I really like some of the laws. Lower the prison population. The DUI car breathalizer pilot (that one is obscure though). Stricter handgun ammo sales documentation. Quite interested what "and others" means for the paparazzi crime law. Also, how is "celebrity" defined?

But, hell, even if I DID live in Cali, I don't think I could get through more than a handful of these actual laws to figure out what the hell they might mean...

Humans are different from animals. We must die for a reason. Now is the time for us to regulate ourselves and reclaim our dignity. The one who holds endless potential and displays his strength and kindness to the world. Only mankind has God, a power that allows us to go above and beyond what we are now, a God that we call "possibility".

My ex-ISP's finally started their court case with AFACT over copyright infringement responsibilities.

    Media release
    Daily update

Too bad they charge so much compared to my current company which is too small to try anything with AFACT.

Governor calls out to wife: Arnold Schwarzenegger is upset with Maria Shriver for apparently violating a law he signed.

What I'm more surprised about is that the law was only passed in 2008. It's been around for much longer here. The fine is also much higher. I guess I should be happy we value safety?

WOW WOW WOW as if California didn't have enough laws? It's physically impossible to remember every law in existence but it sure is GREAT that California decided to tighten the belt of freedom a little more. The last time I checked Califonia was backrupt, shouldn't he be focusing on that a little more? Half of this stuff is in response to failed plans of the government beforehand, with Arnold flamboyantly spending his way into even nicer debt (or higher taxes).
