The Philippines are flooded as a result of tropical storm Ketsana. This is getting ugly.

Wow. Being in the middle of the streets in floods like that is pretty foolish though. Manhole covers get pushed up by the water and then carried away, leaving one really deep hole, invisible from the surface of the rushing waters.

Best of luck to those still out there below the high ground.

It isn't foolish. It is necessary. A lot of people were actually caught in transit by the sudden flood, and actually had to wade to safety. Other people simply cannot stay in their houses and needed to seek higher ground. My aunt's house was actually flooded up to the 3rd floor. She had to get out from the fire escape and use an air bed as a raft just to survive. Luckily, I live on high ground and was barely affected by the incredible flood.

I hope all those guys end up locked up; although that isn't really getting to the root of the problem.

The rapper was allegedly upset over his not being offered food while in the dressing room backstage. After spotting a man-eating chicken, West blurted, "Why wasn't I offered chicken? You want me to perform for free, [and] everyone is eating... why am I not eating?"
Dammit, Little Rascals. You've ruined my parsing of the English language.

    Anti-WiFi paint

Interesting idea, but as most comments have suggested, this should cause more trouble than good.

    If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~

Yeah, its a cool idea on paper, but I wouldn't use it for the same reason as this guy.

"Yeah, why would I want this? My cell phone is my main phone. If my signal is blocked at home, my cell is useless."

Although I don't even remember the last time some fool's cellphone would have started to ring in the middle of a movie but all in all it could be good for theaters and other such places. But hardly for homes when it would render your own phone useless. That's a pretty strong point unless you want your home to be a total bastion of peaceful silence and isolation (with no brainwashing waves from outer space).

Besides, in addition to being special paint (either specially made or requiring additions) if some Japanese institution or company owns the patent, it would be too expensive anyway for anybody other than government, companies, or st33v.

I have a friend that flew out there just before the storm hit. Sounds like it hit the coast where he's at pretty hard recently, but other than that he hasn't seen much of the devastation that has been covered by the news.

It's God's punishment for all the fat black and white guys who go to the Philippines to have sex with little Asian girls.

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

Would be one sarcastic God. Considering those fat black and white guys just fly back home to their comfortable homes from Philippines left in ruins after the punishment.

Who said they were the ones being punished by the storm? They'll get their righteous punishment back in their own dens of iniquity. The purveyors of deviant sex in the Philippines get theirs.

instead of reminding everyone to take out their battery ("no, I can't take out my battery, it's a mater of national security..." "we're all officers here, you twat!") they just throw that thing, and problem solved.

army people don't understand words and orders, and need someone else to set things as facts before they understand.
