actually, that's a good racial comment.
a century back, white families would hire a black woman with a small child so she could breast feed him instead of the white mother. (it happened world-wide, including in oriental parts of the globe).
having a white-supremacist make his child drink only white milk would be a homerun of ignorance.

Currently Watching: probably a show directed at 9 years old girls, lets be honest.

You know the important distinction between Batman and me? Batman is fictional. In real life, there isn't always an alternative.

Man nabbed after hitting girlfriend with sandwich

"Police haven't said what type of sandwich was involved."

This reminded me of a news report a few years ago when some dumbass threw a 20lb turkey at traffic on the highway. It hit a car, shattered the windshield, broke the steering wheel and every bone in the drivers face. People do some stupid shit.

A few years back, there were fake-police cases like that in China. What they did was set up fake-road blocks and selectively pulled over good-looking/sports cars. The driver was then told to step out of the vehicle, move off to the side for a little chat about "what happened", and never to be seen again.

The cars were confiscated. Scary stuff. For some reason it reminds me of the Serial Taxi Rapist cases in Hong Kong a good decade ago. I remember hearing it from Mum. She says that if she had to resort to a taxi to take her home from a late shift, she'd always have her hand on the handle, ever ready to bail.

    Gotta love criminals.

Where the dreamer and his dream?

    That's pretty touching.

At first I thought it was going to be a repeat of this guy 2 years ago who wanted to get laid before he died.

<@Terra> he told me this, "man actually meeting terra is so fucking big", and he started crying. Then he bought me hot dogs

Not sure how i feel about this...it kind of reeks of neo-colonialism. I mean, I partially blame Madagascar for selling the land, but...yea; I hope they use that money for needed things, as it'd be kinda dumb if it turns out that they need to import some of the crops that they themselves can grow.

It seems like the ROK has stopped taking the moral high road that they so espoused (anyone remember when it was a poor,war-ravaged country like 40 years ago?) because basically Japan had done atrocious stuff to them. But now that they have money, it seems that they're becoming just like Britain, America, China, etc. I just hope they don't screw over the Madagascans too much

Madagascar is a representative democratic republic, so they shouldn't be screwed over too much by any foreign companies. If they indeed had that much extra land and no use for it... Good for the Koreans.

That's f@cked up, for lack of a better word. If they do manage to identify individuals on camera, I would be all for a heavy penalty manslaughter verdict. In court, play the tape back to them, so they can see just how madly they killed the man, and for what ridiculous reason. This shouldn't be taken lightly.

One thing I have never understood about America is the shopping frenzy that happens on Thanksgiving. I wonder historically what happened to associate that day so strongly with consumeristic culture. In Canada we have our big shopping day on Boxing Day right after Christmas, but it's not as big a deal as Thanksgiving sales are for our neighbours in the south. I hear stories from my friends who brave the border crossing to catch some of the sales, and it's pretty unreal how competitive everyone is to get the deals they want.
