    Episode 17 - Toki

    Finally, it's been awhile.

Man, this is such a cool series, and episode 17 was once again a great episode. Everyone cheering for Shinozaki was great, and we learn we get a lot of insight into what he's feeling. That chick in the limo, who do you guys think she is? For some reason I think she or her family had something to do with the accident he had when he was little.

Ugh, I was trying to find the raws from 18 on cause I don't wanna wait forever to watch the rest of the series. However, I'm having tough luck finding them. S^M had them, but they only keep new torrents up for like 2-3 weeks before they take them down and they're oldest raw of Over Drive is 23. Bah.

Search in Tokyotosho for overdrive. There are torrents there for the raws from 19-end. Im not sure if they are still up though. 18 is gone for some reason.

This series actually made me cry.

EDIT: This post made me a Jounin. How anti-climactic.

I have a feeling that something bad is going to happen to Youske in this race, I've had that feeling since he went all out on the downhill, like he's going to have some freak accident and be either critically injured or dead.

    And here's 18:

Very nice and exciting episode, do you guys think Shinozaki will finish the race?

I honestly thought he was just gonna hit the ground after he got the mountain award and not be able to continue afterwards. So dunno, I think they're gonna try and stretch this until this season/series ends at 26 I think, since there is still half of the race left. Though if they decide to just drop Shinozaki off, who knows what else they're gonna fill that with.

It's incredible how it took me 5 years to decide to watch that show. It has been sitting on one of my harddrives all this time. I was wondering wether I should just wipe it or watch it, lots of times.
Well I did watch it, found it quite bland and useless. I felt very repetitive, anti-climatic, lost of loose-ends, etc.
I just spent time watching it, but it didn"t mean much.
Maybe I was expecting a little more, because of my cycling background (very old story now...)
There's so much about cycling that wasn't covered.
Well I guess I really was expecting too much.

    Sorry for necro-posting.
