    Koutetsu Sangokushi

This looks very interesting, and here is the trailer :

    TIAF07 Trailer

The Imperial Seal has passed down through the generations since ancient times. It confers great power unto those that it chooses. This is the story of those warriors.

It is a time of chaos, of civil war. It is a time when great armies clash in titanic battles and great heroes carve their names in history. It is also a time of death and destruction, when the people of the land live in constant fear of the sword.

After securing the lands of the north, the nation of Gi (Wei) turned its gaze to the south, to the neighboring land of Go (Wu). Despite the numerical superiority of its armies, Gi has been unable to defeat Go as its ruler, Sonsaku (Sun Ce), possessed the Imperial Seal and the powers conferred by it.

Onto this stage steps the reluctant Rikuson (Lu Xun), whose family had been the guardians of the Imperial Seal up until it was stolen by Sonsaku. At the behest of his mentor, Shoukatsuryou (Zhuge Liang), Rikuson offers his services to Sonsaku with the intention of confirming the will of the Imperial Seal. However, assassins strike down Sonsaku and the Imperial Seal is lost.

So begins, Rikuson’s journey to recover the Imperial Seal and discover his destiny.

    * This story is loosely based off China’s Three Kingdom’s period.

Hmm, Sangokushi... This probably has to do something with Romance of the Three Kingdoms. I'm not going to get my hopes up, most characters seem boring... There may be some cool action scenes that may be worth checking out though.

Yeah, I read it has something to do with Three Kingdoms . I like the artwork though so I'll try to watch at least 2 episodes before making a decision.

Ah yes, another re-invisioning of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, eh?

I think I'll watch a little bit of this just to see how much more outlandish it goes with characterizations than, say, Dynasty Warriors.

The art and animation seems good. Maybe it's the trailer but it looks to be kind of bland. And it seems like the anime's gonna be a total sausage fest, I saw maybe only 1 female =(

If it's the Three Kingdoms, ONE female in a major, longterm role is already taking quite a few liberties.

Don't know if anyone is watching this series, but Kyuuketsuki dropped the series after episode 13. For more information:

It looks like another group will pick it up.
