Oh, no doubt about it... their editing is aweful. But, I don't expect much from any of the other groups doing the series, so might as well get the first speedsub that is out. The translations seem decent at least.

It's still hard to tell what the whole plot of the series is or what is the goal of the main character and the other contractors. The action scenes were good, and I thought the characters introduced so far were pretty good.

I've downloaded before from Mishicorp. They do decent jobs. But it would help if I could remember WHAT I used to download from them....

add Shinsen to the clusterfuck of groups working on this title...
I wish one of them would go do DT Eightron...

Shinsen Subs - Darker than Black - Episode 1

Humans are different from animals. We must die for a reason. Now is the time for us to regulate ourselves and reclaim our dignity. The one who holds endless potential and displays his strength and kindness to the world. Only mankind has God, a power that allows us to go above and beyond what we are now, a God that we call "possibility".

Mishicorp's work seemed decent as far as I could judge. I'll stick to them, assuming they can keep a tolerable release schedule. With Kiba they were somewhat irregular if memory serves (I got Kiba from Kyuu, thus not paying that much attention, though).

It looks like an interesting series. Dark, just like the name suggests. Lots of mysteries left to be revealed after the first episode, which is a good thing. Characters didn't look bad, either, although hard to say much about them yet. I'll definitely keep watching this.
