The problem with facebook is people use their real names and stuff. Joining it, mixes offline with online, which is a bit risky. o.o;
Well so far I've read a bunch of BOC's notes when he bitches about computers and shit, seen Saman's pictures and not recognized her name, and Psyke has thrown a snowball at me.
Joking aside, we're not actually pedophiles. You're more likely to get bored by the group than get yourself in a troublesome situation.

I only have a Facebook account because I wanted to view something for my Anime Club, and a Myspace account because my friend made me do it to get more friends. MSN/IRC/Vent/everything else ftw

I'm just saying, if people already post stuff on the forums, then any facebook activities are kinda redundant.
Aside from its embarrassing and juvenile user demographic, Myspace's interface is pretty obnoxious. Even its search feature is useless. Unless you want to associate with scenester kids, vapid teenage girls, and anime fans exclusively, then it's a pretty bad "social networking" site in my opinion.What's wrong with Myspace?
It is good for music though. Probably the only decent way to promote a band nowadays is to pimp its myspace page.

From what I've seen of Facebook it's pretty effective, though some of the features are overboard. Myspace is a good way for a stupid person to get phished more than once, but keep contact with people who won't use messengers. I dislike both of them equally..
