Awesome episode. I wonder just hom much more power can Clare dish out. She is just badass at the moment. Kinda makes you wonder, just how powerful Teresa was? We have only seen Teresa release about 10 percent of her true power as explained in earlier episodes, it has peaked my interests, too bad we will never know.

I am guessing this whole exile/ hidden beings are over with or is it? If there is just gonna be 2 more episodes you can't really have a battle with the 3 Kings. Also since the entire series is basically built around Clare avenging Teresa they would have to make a new storyline and well I don't really think that is plausible, but who knows.

Volcano's are pretty awesome, but it's hard to shake the fact that Clare is doing the exact same thing Priscilla did. Then again...Clare is the main character, and that does makes anything fair game. Plus, seeing more of Awakened Priscilla isn't too bad either.

You just want to see those nipples and well her cute face, admit you, yuki.

also Clare is not doing the same thing, granted similar reasoning but not the same. Priscilla was inexperienced single minded and alone for the most part, Clare never was or is. I do sympathize with Prisciilla, I don't even blame her but with everything comes concequneces, so bitch gotta die.

Priscilla is incomplete as far as awaken being gones, just pawning off the blame on someone else instead of just accepting facts. She is an emo character who is very selfish from a certain stand point.

If you really do want to know, you can read the 1st Claymore Extra Scene chapter. It's a Teresa flashback. They actually animated the 2nd one, the Miria/Ophelia encounter.

The difference between present Clare and past Priscilla is a different kind of rage. Priscilla wanted to kill Teresa simply because she broke the rules. Clare wants to kill Priscilla for all the harm she's done, as well as avenge the person she was closest to. They are very similar, but Clare still very much would want to kill herself after finishing Priscilla. Priscilla thought of nothing else but defeating the existence that humiliated her, twice. Even now, nothing has changed for Priscilla.

Priscilla lost control because she stopped caring about herself in her enraged state. Clare doesn't, because she's known from a very young age exactly what she would become.

Clare has always mirrored the past. She picked up Raki in the same way Teresa picked her up, she's following in Priscilla's footsteps to defeat her enemy.

I fear they give the blow of victory to Raki...

Yet I can't wait for a good Volcano Fight (reminds me of animes of the past)

From the begining, I have always like the Priscilla monstruous form (car the horn).

    Waiting is so frustrating now...

Is Clare awakened already? her current form is confusing. I though she awakened then at the last scene, Clare still looks the same with the awakend feet and all.

    She probably hasnt.

Priscilla is a brat, she always was.

The Raki scene was sooooooooooo out of character. He wanted to die with Clare the last time they were together, and after not seeing her so long and building up his emotions towards her he suddenly fears death? WTF?

Raki just need some kissing from Clare, then he will go back to "die with clare" attitude.

I guess he chickened out after witnessing how scary and powerful she is.

Which makes no sense since he didnt chicken out when he saw Ophelia chop off Clare's legs.

His problem is that he fears Clare, or rather he's not sure about what his feelings are for her since she's on the verge of becoming a monster.

The problem is that he lost so much water crying, that I wonder if thad exceeds the blood spilled over the course of the show , which is indeed anoying.

But I have to say that most combat scenes are neat, the music fits quite well and you get really caught in it. At least with headspeakers.

Now I really can't wait for that volcano fight, and hope raki won't interrupt too much. He's somewhat like a child always going in his parent's room when he shouldn't...

Raki never said anything about having mixed feelings about Clare. He just plainly stated that he didnt want to die.

It makes perfect sense... Throughout the show he's always believed that he can save Clare. But he finally got a reality check from Helen and he realizes how dumb and weak he really was thus leading him into that state of fear.

I don't think he is scared of Clare... He's just shocked to finally realize there's nothing he can do to save Clare. But after a talk with Jeane I guess he gains confidence again and wants to save Clare.

Your right, Raki already saved Clare in the past, by just being with her. But this time he realized he's powerless and he can't do anything to protect Clare or atleast help her

It seems out of character for Raki to just say that he is afraid to die. Raki always knew that he was weak even in the Ophelia arc. He was even willing to die with Clare just so that he can be with her. Even when Clare was transforming the first time and told him to get away from her he didnt (which consequently saved Clare). It makes me wonder why he acts like this all of a sudden. That was his only redeeming quality, and if you take that away, he does indeed deserve to be erased from existence like many people believe.

I think the reason why they just had to make him act like a wuss is so that he can come and knock Clare back to her senses after/during the following fight.

This is out of character for Raki, because that wasn't even intended by the author, Norihiro Yagi, I'm sure. A lot of the times these filler making anime studio's just really fail hard. Though, the author could've given input, but I doubt he'd personally allow something as out of character for one of his characters.

Though, Shinta's explanation makes a lot of sense. Setting him up as a giant retard and pussy, and have him do the heroic deed for more "Umph" when it matters.

He'll probably save Clare from awakening fully in the next episode. That is if Galatea won't be able to control Clare's yoki

Galatea cant control Clare's youki. She can just give it a small push, like she herself said before. Maybe it will be a combined effort between Galatea and Raki, or at the rate that they are going with the story, maybe Clare will simply die.

Well Galatea helped Clare once, by pulling her yoki down to prevent Clare to fully awaken.
That's probably why oyabin mentionned that. Eventhough this time things may be totally different than in the Riful arc.
I wonder how Galatea will deal with the menace she got... It seems she wants to join rebel claymore's side, because she once let go and she was whishing to see Clare, Miria and the others again. But there's a place for doubt in her future behaviour.
I also wonder if Galatea will try to semi-awaken. Or maybe she already tried that, but that's unlikely.

The Organization is keeping a very close eye on Galatea after what she pulled with Clare and Jeane. They'd send Rafaela after her in a heartbeat. Since Galatea is only suited to sensing and barely manipulating yoki, she'd probably be killed in short order.

  20. #1000
Galatea vs Rafaela would be an interesting side fight we'll never see, Super yoki sensing vs super yoki suppression. Irene was able to sense something about Rafaela's power when she was up really close and already aware of her, which implies that she must leak at least some power out.

Something else I just remembered that made no sense in this last ep, Priscilla, as a little girl, managed to kill a Yoma with an ax. If a 5 year old girl can kill Yoma by walking up to it and stabbing it with an ax why would they even need Claymore's? That scene made it seem like all the benefits one gets from making a yoma-human hybrid aren't actually necessary to kill them. All you need to kill a yoma is the strength of a 5 year old girl and some sneakiness. If 5 year old Priscilla can kill a yoma I don't see why Raki shouldn't be able kill Priscilla...
