Is Raki some kind of a monster magnet? I mean, first Clare, now loli Priscilla?? He seems to be getting a lot of action despite being the weakest thing in claymore.

About the awakening, I think that there are signs, not only physically but in the way the youki is gradually getting uncontrollable and its way of release. This way, even if you dont know the actual base youki like Undine, you can easily tell when they are going over.

man, 20 was a really good 'calm before the storm' episode. Deneve continues to be the most surprisingly awesome minor character in the entire show. Undine's backstory is pretty fitting and really makes me feel sorry for her... she has come quite a long way though...

Rigardo and twenty six Awakened Beings... that is going to simply ass-stomp the Claymores, I fear... I get a worse and worse premonition that Clare will be the only survivor...

At least Flora wasn't as much trouble as I pegged her for. I thought she'd try to summarily execute Clare for Awakening.

Humans are different from animals. We must die for a reason. Now is the time for us to regulate ourselves and reclaim our dignity. The one who holds endless potential and displays his strength and kindness to the world. Only mankind has God, a power that allows us to go above and beyond what we are now, a God that we call "possibility".

I think Riful will probably make an appearance while everyone is busy fighting.

I've seen all the of the eps from yesterday.
I'd say it's a very fine show, with a very good art with few undetailed moments, which is a real plus.
The story in itself may get a little to repetitive (when you watch all the eps in a short period of time... you feel it).
In the first few eps, I was afraid the devils were more like zombies: no brains, no strength... but then we got better fighters, more like bruteforce though for the most.
    The Teresa arc was fine.
Clare is a bit annoying, she's the stereotype of hero... weak, but with so many hidden skills we discover when they're handy... And that borrowed arm is just bullshit to me... but we've seen this before.
So basically she's able to be right on the verge of awakening, which gave her at first an advantage. Now that we've got Miria able to do it also... Clare is pale on that point.

She's able to sense Yoki, and uses it in battle as an advantage.
Galatea is there too, pretty good here.
She has Irene's arm. Yet she needs quite a lot of time to get used to it.
Seems like she's been able to, a little though... I think she would've suck against flora,
and be a shame to Irene's art... at least at her current state.
Last but not least, she has Teresa in her. The seemingly strongest non awakened claymore ever... yet it does not seem to be of real use... or does this explains why she always adapts to the fight, just what's needed, to win... or at least be saved?

Oh and that Ophelia arc really did suck, Ophelia being more human after awakening than before...

Yet I like the show very much, I happen to only see and show the bad things in everything, it's in my character There's not so much to say after all.

Except for the Ophelia arc comment that was actually backed up by a solid reason, the other things you mentioned are quite preferential or are just assumptions, and thus cannot be labeled as bad. Clare is not nearly as stereotypical as you say. Sure, she isnt Lelouch or Light, but she isnt Goku or Kenshin either.

I'm guessing that a lot of them will be dead next episode. Another army is coming to town.

David75 in one of the episodes one of the claymores said that they have half yoma in them, but because clare used Teresa's head she only has a quarter yoma in her.

Has a second season been confirmed yet? Seems like they starting to divert from the actual manga at episode 20 and are preparing for a half-assed showndown between Pricilla and Claire at 26. A big bummer since things only get better in the manga.

I know that, it's just how Clare gets more and more powerful all the time which is kinda strange.

To compare, I'd love to see how Teresa grew up as the #1 of her time.
Oh and while I'm on her, I still don't understand how she let her guard down against the soon to be awakened Priscilla. Was she moved by Priscilla?

I wonder now what will happen, I guess I've been to quick in watching the first 20 eps.

It's impressive how the end of the eps come so quickly most of the time...

Rigardo rocks, I think I like how he is portrayed as of yet. I like his awaken state too, he's monstruosly beautiful compared to all of the others we've seen so far. On par with Priscilla (though her horn is a bit too much)

@David75 - It seems you dont understand quite a lot. Clare doesnt just get "stronger". She actually has a pretty good powering up curve, with nothing too abrupt or abnormal. Even with the Flash sword, it is not nearly as powerful as the original. Everyone in the series gets more powerful, thats just normal. It would even be stranger if Clare didnt get stronger, considering the severe level she was on in the beginning (she can only go up). She also always needs back up or help, quite unlike the usual shounen stuff where the hero owns the enemy alone, or is the strongest in the group.

Teresa let her guard down against Priscilla because she thought that Priscilla had given up, and wanted to die as a human. Its a wish all claymores share, and thus, Teresa understood such desire. This led her to believe that the fight was over, so she relaxed (to her demise unfortunately).

A lot of claymores dead. I just love this show. I enjoy it when the makers arent afraid of letting characters die.

The Lion King fellow is quite badass. The regular ABs seemed to kill fast the weakest Claymores but were having considerable troubles with the stronger ones. The Lion King must be stronger than the other ABs in town now, but I deem it likely weaker than Priscilla. Because of that I'd say Clare won't have any hope agaisnt Priscilla if she can't find the power within herself to beat this dude.

Other than that, it'll be interesting to see how Raki will continue to behave now that he has realised he's in the company of two monsters. Will he try to "save" Priscilla or what?

I haven't watched this yet but pretty much everything I'm hearing sounds wrong...Raki realizing he's with monsters? Rigardo doing stuff this early? This doesn't sound quite like the manga I read...stupid work keeping me from watching.

I really enjoyed the episode. Too bad most of the new claymores got killed.
It seems like Raki will be in the way, when Clare meets Priscilla.

    And Rigardo was awesome.

Personally, I loved the original material with Priscilla. I had been a little wary of how this arc was developing so far. The whole situation with Raki and Priscilla really added a lot to their characters.

We knew from the Teresa arc she had serious issues with how her family had been killed. It's why she always went berserk on Yoma, and why she had to kill Teresa. In the Ophelia arc, we learned more. After Awakening, Priscilla would always leave little girls alone, inevitably creating more Claymores like herself. But why did, "the girls not even reflect in her eyes."? Was she subconsciously avoiding equivalents to herself, only to actually cause the reenactment of her own circumstances?

Now we see for all her colossal power, for how "good" it felt when she Awakened, she still loathes becoming everything she always hated.

As for Raki, he sees in Priscilla the same thing he sees in Clare. He can't bring himself to kill her (though Easley would have stopped him) because he could see Clare becoming a monster in Priscilla. He sympathizes with Priscilla thanks to all the time he's spent with Clare as she inexorably slides towards becoming the same.

All in all, an interesting twist.

And just when I was starting to like Undine....... Too many deaths in an episode's gonna make my day gloomy.
