Who are you're other four?(waits for the obvious)
R.I.P Captain America.
I kept on saying this show was sliding slowly toward H. Let's sum up, Team one, 46 sexy warriors up against team two, army of tentacle and oversized males.Originally Posted by TheBladeChild
And second proof, BoC is watching this show.
It's true, it seems to be sliding towards it. One of the ABs in this episode were talking about how pretty the girls are. I hope he doesn't tentacle rape them. Rape them as in sexually.... It's ok if he rapes them as in killing them though.Originally Posted by Inazuma
Loving this show more and more.
I was wondering why an assualt of this magnitude was only lead by Miria. I think when they're all about to die, either the Organization's second force (the proper one) comes, or Riful. And Duff. But I think Riful'll only come out when they face Easley.
Well Miria did say that they were sacrifices... so you really don't have to wonder, she tells you why.
Yeah, I was meaning before she explained that to the slashers. I was expecting no.1 to be leading the pack when Flora announced that she wasn't leading, that's all.
I'm wondering if they'll expose them self as awakened to the other only to survive or just let the rest die and then awaken
I don't know if that would be an issue... in fact, I would expect some of the others to Awaken or semi-awaken just for the terror they're about to face. They'll get desperate and simply Awaken. Would that be good or bad for our Claymores would remain to be seen. I wouldn't discount some infighting among the Claymores because of this.
I think any of the Claymores awakening would be bad, it would simply create even more chaos on the battlefield. We already know that AB's don't seem to get along with each other(except when forced to by someone stronger) so newly awakens would simply attack who ever.

ABs are awakened claymores right? I forgot how regular yomas came about?
We haven't been told how regular yoma came to exist. My guess would be the usual ways -- ie: reproduction...
I'd assume AB stands for Awakened Being. So it's not just Claymores, but any person with yoki (probably only Claymores and Yoma, but not necessarily). And regular Yoma...I actually don't think that's been mentioned.Originally Posted by Id3aLiStiC
Yeah, AB's Awakened Being, but I think we've been specifically told that they arise from Claymores who have lost their human part to the youma. A being that's stronger than the claymore from which it became, and ofcourse, the youma parts of the claymore. Don't think that normal youma can become awakened beings. Remember earlier in the series, Rubel explained to Clare that Veracious Eaters (excuse the spelling) were ABs, and that telling the public they were just old and powerful youma was a coverup. I inferred from that that youma can not become ABs.Originally Posted by Shadowflame
Ah yes, I do believe you're right. But I think that to be sure we'd have to know more about the Yoma people.
And I guess that any human with Yoma blood/parts/whatever in them could technically be considered a "Claymore" of sorts ignoring their lack of ties to the specific Organization we're dealing with right now. So yeah, it's most likely only Claymores.
Yoma people. Quite an interesting way to phrase it hehe.
Peace.
Or Yomas. Still, I understand why one may think that way. Yomas and ABs are in general one of the smarter monster type creatures Ive ever seen.
Peace.
If ABs only come from claymores... then it would be interesting to have strong, non-AB yomas...but i doubt this could happen in a single length series
finally watched episode 18. It was very good, right from the start. I enjoyed Clare's talk with Jeane, and anything with Rubel in it is a good scene (his sense of humor is so twisted, i love it!). Plus we got the reunion of the Slashers (+1) and a serious war in the North forming...
Undine's only redeeming quality so far are those two swords of hers. I was waiting for someone to come along with that style... Wonder if we'll ever see a sword and shield fighter either (I know Claymores are meant to be two-handed, but Clare and some others seem to get along fine using one arm). Flora's alright. I really liked the initially calm male AB (not the Voldo look-alike) as well.
I don't even want to think about Yoma reproduction... gross...
I have a bad feeling that not all the Slashers are going to make it out of this story arc... The odds are so against them and I just don't see them all making it... Jeane's the obvious first one to die. I really like Deneve (she was great in this episode), but I've got a bad feeling for her as well.
Humans are different from animals. We must die for a reason. Now is the time for us to regulate ourselves and reclaim our dignity. The one who holds endless potential and displays his strength and kindness to the world. Only mankind has God, a power that allows us to go above and beyond what we are now, a God that we call "possibility".
I thought Helen was good in that episode. I can still remember when she used to diss everyone before, and now it's like "HEY!!! Long time now see, How are ya?" Need some cheerful characters in this story, lol.
I was thinking about this for some time; Clare said that it hadn't occurred to her that Flash Sword was controllable until she saw Jeane awaken. So Irene just didn't tell her that you can control where it slashes? I was pretty sure Irene could control hers. Back in that episode where Teresa versed Irene in the motel room with you Clare in it. None of them hit her.
