    Moonlight Mile

This is a series I've been waiting for, hopefully it'll be good. First episode released by Formula:
    http://a.scarywater.net/formulasub/%...5D.mkv.torrent

After scaling Mt. Everest, mountain climbing partners Saruwatari Gorou and "Lostman" Jack F. Woodbridge see the ISA Space Station, and each vows to make the trek into outerspace. When Helium 3, a new energy source, is discovered on the moon, NASA forms a new project named "Nexus" to harness that energy for use on earth. This is the story of the two and the paths they take to see their dream become a reality in the quest to harness the next-generation energy source.

Ho... Sounds good, especially if it reminds of Planetes.

He3 won't be of much use unless / before ITER has been succesful, so I suppose the story takes place at least a few decades from now.

Gotta download and have a look. There aren't ever too many hard science fiction series around.

This is pretty impressive. Hope it continues to `impress`. And definatly feels like Planetes which is not a bad thing at all.

Unfortunately, the group has already dropped it. Someone else will have to sub it now.

Omg, that truly sucks. I'm seriously looking forward to this one too. Its seems like it'll turn out into a really good show. Hoping some other group picks it up.

Oh and Chaos, we kinda already noticed that...

The one Chaos posted is higher quality. And i really hope some group will pick it up as it just too good to just disappear.

Well I guess I'm not watching this episode yet. I'm going to wait for some other group to release it, one that plans on doing the whole series. I'm glad to see that there some interest here, especially some comparing it to Planetes.

Moonlight Mile is some what different... and that's why I like it. More people should start watching this, and is there still no answer on who will be subbing this show? Since the other group dropped it.

Looks like Formula-subs is going to continue this project as a joint with Shinsen-subs:

Wow this show seems really good, glad I picked it up. I haven't watched a show that's mostly realistic for a while, and I think this one might have a pretty good story to tell.

They're up to episode 5 right now. If you want to download the raws they are posted on datorrents.com.

Mmmm, this is quite the gem. Good art, animation, realistic, dramatic moments, and sex with the chicks actually nude and not censored/covered. Now that's a great combo.

This looks like it's going to be a damn good series. A+ from me except for the very unneeded nudity. Once or twice throughout the series is fine, but several times in the first two episodes is just overdoing it.

There's a manga too. I'll have to check that out as well.

I believe there was only one instance of nudity in each episode. The first, at the everest base camp, and the second on top of the lift thingy when Gorou was takin a break.

Partial nudity, full nudity, same thing. There's no reason to have so much fanservice when the story is so good.

I personally welcome it, since this type of fanservice isn't present usually in such serious animes.
