    Moonlight Mile

This is a series I've been waiting for, hopefully it'll be good. First episode released by Formula:
    http://a.scarywater.net/formulasub/%...5D.mkv.torrent

After scaling Mt. Everest, mountain climbing partners Saruwatari Gorou and "Lostman" Jack F. Woodbridge see the ISA Space Station, and each vows to make the trek into outerspace. When Helium 3, a new energy source, is discovered on the moon, NASA forms a new project named "Nexus" to harness that energy for use on earth. This is the story of the two and the paths they take to see their dream become a reality in the quest to harness the next-generation energy source.

Ho... Sounds good, especially if it reminds of Planetes.

He3 won't be of much use unless / before ITER has been succesful, so I suppose the story takes place at least a few decades from now.

Gotta download and have a look. There aren't ever too many hard science fiction series around.

This is pretty impressive. Hope it continues to `impress`. And definatly feels like Planetes which is not a bad thing at all.

Unfortunately, the group has already dropped it. Someone else will have to sub it now.

Obviously, but my point was that they should have been built up more and then killed. They served their purpose, I suppose.

They were actually developed quite uniquely. They have both antagonist and protagonist qualities, and despite the fact that they died a pathetic death, there was enough background for people to actually give a damn and not just label it as a filler episode.

    Season 2 Episode 1 RAW

The raw for the second season's released already. Hopefully a group will pick it up. Maybe Formula Subs will do it again?

It seems to me that Formula doesn't do licenses, also do you think the license extends to the second season? It usually doesn't.

  11. #11
Yeah, I'm assuming Munsu checked their website since it does seem they don't sub licensed material. I agree that usually the license doesn't extend to the next season so I don't see it why it would apply in this case.

Whoa that was fast. Second season started already........

Be patient. Somebody has to sub it. Possibly Your-Mom.

    Your-Mom never fails to impress.

I download Your-Mom all the time. Sometimes multiple times a day, even.

Shame no one has decided to sub the second season yet. There're 5 episodes of it out already I believe. Hopefully some group does decide to pick it up. I don't think Formula and Shinsen are gonna be working on this.

  16. #16
Yeah, it's a shame that no one is doing the second season.

  17. #17
Nice, someone finally decided to sub it. Though I haven't watched it yet, or know the group's (Gray Phantom) history. Atleast it's something!

    Season 2 Episode 1 - G_P

  18. #18
They're usually a dvd ripping group... this is probably their second or so series they actually fansub.

Could have used a slight bit more editing to catch words out of place, but it seemed pretty good to me.

I'm just glad someone's putting this out.

Well I liked the episode about Lostman. China begins to move. Can't wait for more.
