I thought the reason Ikkaku said to keep his bankai release hush hush was because they're forbidden to do it in the real world. Not to mention he's not even a vice-captain.

Another weird thing. Yumi said he's the 2nd strongest in 11th squad. First is obviously Kenpachi. So that little girl vice-captain isn't stronger than Ikkaku? That's kind of disappointing. I wanted to see her go buckwild Yoda style in some future episode.

WOW what an episode and for a person who doesn't read the MANGA that Bankai was one hell of a surprise! It was just so bad ass words just couldn't express the smiles on my face!


I really hope he makes it though because after pumping us up so much you would hate to see a character like that die after just showing off his bankai!
