Holy Cock Tease Batman!!!
What in the hell kind of jutsu or Orchimaro using?
God I can't wait for this chapter.
But it seems as if to add more evidence that oro might in fact be one of the eight tailed bichu.
It's been speculated before that something like that might be the case most people didn't put much thought into it, but seriously how the hell else would you explain it.
If you remember a while back during the Konoah Crush arc there's a scene with Ibiki where he describes orchimaro as not so much a man but rather something more sinister merely in the shape of a man.
If sasuke's going to have to fight that he might win just because of as of yet unexplained connection between the bichu and the uchila clan that allows him to suppress the tailed beasts.
Who knows, maybe that's the reason why oro left the akatsuki, once he learned that they'd be hunting his kind down. Would make sense because akatsuki really don't have any reason to go after him.
Who knows maybe sasuke will kick oro's ass and deliver him over to be absorbed by their super mega demon statue so he can join them and thus get a chance to kill his brother.
Sort of makes sense seeing as their are is at least one vacancy spot that needs to be filled right now. Would be super funny if sasuke got paired with itachi and they sort of wondered around with sasuke grumbling looking for an opportunity to take itachi down.
it's true oro is definitely strong but i dunno about being a jinchuuriki. i'm sure there'd be an issue from all the body transfers as well. also, the akatsuki leader seems pretty smart so i'm pretty sure he would've already figured it out if oro was one
We haven't seen enough of the Akatsuki leader to know if he knows that Orochimaru is or isn't a Jinchuuriki. Since LobsterMagnet brought it up, it does make sense to me. A tailed beast that can pick it's host and change at will (after a specific amount of time, of course) wouldn't be too unbelievable.Originally Posted by Meteros
I guess nothing will be confirmed until kishi says so but I do think that oro is either a bichu which would mean that he is actually the 8-tailed snake demon as seen in Japanese mythology. Or a jinjuurinki with the 8-tailed snake beast being sealed within in him. Either of these could be true and it would explain why he's afraid of itachi because of the uchia clan's unspecified connection to the bichu and there ability to suppress them ( as seen in the scene where sasuke suppresses the kyubi.).
I wouldn't necessarily say sasuke "suppressed" kyubi. Since the whole thing took place in more of a subconscious level, it couldve just been sasuke preventing naruto from personally tapping into kyubi.

That's exactly why you can do so much more with Orochimaru, he's so much like a snake that he could actually be the Eight Tailed Demon or Jinchuuriki. Orochimaru is a good character and there is so much you can do with him, then to make him die here, after just training Sasuke.
Ehhh, I already got neg-repped for wishing Orochimaru would die and quite frankly, I don't care. I find him quite boring. He's a guy motivated to learn all the jutsus in the world and he's got an expiration date on the body he's currently using. Not to mention he's sick all the freaking time. Villains like him are totally boring. He's got "early death" written all over him.
Besides, the benefit of Orochimaru killed by Sasuke would be upping the fight between Sasuke and Naruto in the future. Sasuke always seems to be a step ahead of Naruto so I don't find this potential gap in skill all that bothersome. It's a typical shounen manga formula and Kishi has yet to demonstrate a time where he deviates from it.
Obviously, I'll accept whatever Kishi throws at us. Even Oro winning and then successfully transfering his soul to Sasuke would be a pleasant surprise. But it still won't convince me to like him as a villain =P
It's what he's done and what he does that makes him good, he did experiments on shinobi in Konoha, and over the place, killing alot of them in the process, he's found a jutsu that can make him immortal. Although he needs to change bodies quite often, plus he's had his hands pulled into the death god.
He's based on a snake, his prominent jutsu's are that of snake type moves and patterns, which is cool. Also his other techniques and stealing bloodline techniques from other clans isn't something that all characters can do.
Probably the most interesting villain in this series, another being his subordinate Kabuto.
Honestly it wouldn't bug me if oro died. He's had a great run as the main villain of naruto. He's had his time to shine but honestly I think it's time for him to move over. So if he dies I think it'd help in terms tying up all of the numerous unresolved plot threats in the series.
no way he'll die. 2 akatsuki just died (i'm counting hidan as dead for now). it'd be too many too fast.
Oro won't die. It'll be a great chapter though, if that pic is any indication.
I think I know precisely what I mean
when I say it's a schpadoinkle day
If Orochimaru were a jinchuuriki, he would've used his power against Sarutobi.
That's already assuming you know what power that is. For all we know, he could be already tapping into his jinchuuriki powers all the time.Originally Posted by Q-BeRt
