as far as getting back on track, it will continue where the manga left off. so, it WILL get back on track. the manga has been just, if not better, than what he was already seen. So, if you left off because of the fillers, and want to think about coming back, well, if you liked it before, then you should like it now.
Finally..the wait winds down. >.< Been so long since I've watched Naruto, will be nice to watch it again back on track.

I don't neccessarily think I would've been fine with it all being a dream(I didn't watch it so I don't care really).
Something more plausible would be for him to get hit in the head and forget everything that happened over the craptastic fillers..

Finally this crap is going to be over. Like a lot of people I stopped watching Naruto after that Curry of Life crap, and I'm looking forward to the anime getting back on track.
But I suppose there was a silver lining to the Naruto fillers, as they made me (and no doubt others as well) go and discover Bleach and One Piece.
I'm so pumped now, 2 more days and I can start laughing at all the wrong speculations and the whining that the story isn't going the way people want it to (in addition to seeing lots of cool stuff that will probably look amazing in color and motion). Don't let the crappiness of the fillers dull your judgement or your teeth gotwoot! If you don't like it once the fillers are over speak out!!!!

Yep! I don't recall if the eyeball was shown before either, but it seemed oddly familiar.
Maybe in some future filler episode Gaara will be a sniper with his sand eyeball and sand rifle.Kinda like Kimimaro's machine gun fingers.
