well this week's epi was kind of a bummer...
was too much junk with pretty much showing flashbacks and showing anbu thinking~
and next week epi shows the konoha ninjas as kids?! oh geez...how are they ever gonna make it so it flows right into the non-filler stuff??

Been a while since I have looked to see as to how the show is progressing, or in gotwoot, (moving to college and stuff). But it still seems like Naruto fillers are going.
I just wish a new episode title would be "this is not a filler , YAY!" or something along those lines.

In all honesty, after switching to the manga... I really don't care much about the animated version of it. However, when it does come around, I might give it a d/l just for the sake of seeing things in action.
i can say with confidence that you would not be alone... i hope the english version of events includes all the filler to put everyone else in the same sort of agony as us...
all those toonami watchers will be like... "ZOMG DOOD WTF WHENS THIS FILLER GONNA END" like around episode 175... and we can laugh at their agony as they come back at he release of every new episode and grow more impatient...
Ok, I'm not one who complains much about fillers, as a matter of a fact, I usually tell people to stop wasting peoples time when it come to nagging about fillers but the quality of the Bleach fillers vs Naruto fillers is making me write this. Maybe someone could clarify my thoughts
Ok, so... lets put it this way, naruto has been filling for nearly HALF the episodes that have been aired, almost approaching two years... TWO YEARS PEEPS!! In theses lines of episodes the writers could of actually planned to perhaps write up an entire new kind of a solid story without messing up the manga storyline, like hey maybe he could of gone on an insanely long mission or gone to spend some time at another village for a while. Instead of making a nice long solid filler story or two, they aired nothing but cut up garbage for almost an ENTIRE 2 YEARS!! You'd think that after that long they could of come up with something better for fillers. But, it's not just the storyline that sucks, notice how the quality of the drawing and music have completely gone to hell. Seriously, look at backgrounds and the effort they put into sound effects, I hope that they will go back to normal once the show goes back to the manga.
Take Bleach for example, I seriously didn't know that the Bountou storyline was even a filler until the very last episodes. But seriously... it was freaking great!! I hardly consider that season as a filler.
So i guess I want to know if people have an answer or a theory for the reason Naruto fillers were absolute shit.

seriously though it's because they didnt really care anymore as long as they make a killing with the series. As long as money is comeing in they dont care what they are produceing thats why anime like kenshin gets taken out during fillers once they make there money they dont care if a series ends because of fillers.
Anyway this is pointless talking about it now since the series will start again in february. let us rejoice in the fact that fillers will end soon and not even think of the shit the Ape for brains directors flung at us.
I just realized something. I looked at the title of this thread, and finally, finally it seems to be the true thread of official countdown. Because finally we have a date, a number of the episode, when this hell of bad entertainment will end.

yup and it's sure is about time fillers ended and we see shippu-den and maybe kakashi gaiden before it...
i sure hope that the wait was worth it, studio pierrot & kishimoto do a good job animating, and hoping for no fillers for a very very long time (especially after over 1 yr worth of non stop filler which i think is definitely crazy, yet here we all are still eagerly watching naruto...lol)

Ah yes, the good old days when we thought that the "Infiltrate Oro's Lair" filler would be the only one, and then right back to the manga... People still had hope during the Mizuki arc - then the horror started sinking in when we got the first utterly crappy filler with Raiga and the "curry of life". Wow, its been like a year since I posted here...still no end in sight eh? I've since given up and moved on. Whatever number it was when Naruto and Sasuke finished their fight was the last time I watched this show. Is there a new rumored time when its supposed to end? I'm begining to think this shit won't end until the God awful English version catches up to the previously mentioned fight. Meh...back to life, later.

well at least now we don't have to go through such a long marathon of fillers. i mean i could really understand maybe like 4 fillers in a row...but seriously, the 1.7 yrs worth of episodes has been ridiculously and painfully long...
hopefully, the last few fillers are much better because part ii seems very promising...
