Zhao...1 anime episode = about 1.75 - 2 manga chapters
But keep in mind, that 35 weeks from now, there will be 35 more manga chapters..which is like 18 episodes.
Then 18 weeks from there, there will be 18 more manga chapters...which is 9 eps..etc.

We agreed that the constant references to the gaiden are spoiler on the grounds that it refers to a page in the story that has not appeared yet in the anime, which implies future events in the story, as well as providing openings for more threatening spoilers. If anyone referenced the gaiden in the news, let me know.
I kindly asked that people refrained from doing it a year ago, and yet everyone is ignoring my request, so now i treat it as not only a spoiler, but also insubordination.

Oh thank goodness, I'm glad to see the end of Naruto fillers is near. Hopefully the manga progressed well enough that they shall not need to return to fillers for some time.
Assertn, I think you should give Wikipedia a warning. That's how I got spoiled on [that exact same topic]. ...Sorry, I'm not really trying to be a dumbass.
I'm amazed at how long Naruto has been going on. I'm used to shows, and anything serial, being cancelled quickly like in the US and UK. The whole story has taken so long to develop, I wonder how many more times we'll get filler in the show before the manga wraps up.
The episode title is on the GW front page. But really, who cares? Even if you know it's coming, you don't know what it's about or what happens in it.

No, you're trying to be a smartass. If you're not concerned about spoilers, then by all means use Wikipedia...there are spoilers spanning all of the manga in there. My job is to make sure this place remains clean, so people who prefer not to know won't have to tread lightly in fear of spoilers popping up.

2) Like I said before, constant references to upcoming arcs are also invitations to spoilers from those arcs. I'm waiting for the guy that starts talking about the meaning behind episode 200's translated title.

This thing about the fillers ending at episode 200 is most likely a lie. since its episode 200 they are probably makeing it seem like the fillers will end since its a major milestone for the series. Its like the april fools joke and how they said last year the fillers would end in may.

i'm as upset about the ever-changing status of the end of Naruto fillers as much as anyone else. As someone who only watches the anime even I've been spoiled about upcoming events for the sake of finding some news on the end of all this.
but i do ask people to cooperate with the moderators. Referencing future episode titles is a potentially huge spoiler. I mean, if someone got their hands on an episode title like "The Strongest Battle! Kimimaro vs. Gaara" or "Third Farewell Forever" BEFORE it was aired, even previewed, and posted it here, wouldn't you consider it to be a massive spoiler?
Now I know my frontpage post was a little premature (i fuckin knew i was going to stick my foot in my mouth... but i just wanted to have a little hope and get people psyched about Naruto again) and could count as a spoiler, so i've editted it until further notice.
even though most people do know what occurs directly after the fillers don't get mad at Assertn for trying to protect those that don't. When we offer a spoiler-free place to discuss Naruto (or anything) we mean spoiler free. Part of this means keeping info about unaired episodes down to a minimum, especially since it could invoke people to post bigger spoilers.

Well, if the announced titles are real then that's just very good news. I had basically stopped watching the anime because of how bad the fillers were... they were bad at the beggining (super Rasengan ocean toilet!) and the ones I happened to watch the last few months were even worse.
Here's hoping to the start of the second generation....
The funny thing, in my opinion, is that without speculation/hints at the manga storyline I doubt the current Naruto would even warrant it's own section on the main boards. Of course some people want to be surprised, which is why this section exists, but I can't imagine anyone mad over filler spoilers, like 'Raiga didn't really die' or 'that sketchy kid is really an evil imposter'.
But it occurs to me, probably not for the first time, isn't the label of filler a spoiler in and of itself? By calling the last 50ish episodes filler we are indirectly telling people what probably won't happen in the story. As I assume most intelligent people would deduce that if an episode is 'filler' then it most likely won't be included in or referanced by the 'non-filler'. The best example is Hinata's charachter development, will that carry over or not? If you take the development we've seen then call it filler, it implies that her development not be present or ignored in the 'real' time.

but at the same time, I think the viewer-base would suffer even more to think all this crap is part of the real story. There probably wouldn't be anyone left at this point. If it wasn't for the fact that the fillers are just so incredibly bad, the community wouldnt feel embarrassed enough by its presence to publicly shun them.
