Offical Countdown to the end of fillers!

well it's been a long and painful journey that pretty much all naruto fans had to endure in hopes that the week after would be the end. yet here we are after over a year's worth of non-stop, crazy, boring, lame, filler epi yet we still want more naruto no matter how bad it gets..

the moment of truth of whether or not that movie trailer really did mean the end of the fillers or not is comin in a few days...let's hope these upcomin epi titles are fake and in fact that we're getting some kakashi gaiden epi followed by maybe a filler epi or 2 (i can let studio pierrot go away with that) and then maybe start part 2..

seriously, if they can make up all this **** that the fillers have shown, can't they at least just do the ____ gaiden now and add stuff along the way? like show scenes of gaiden characters training or fooling around in konoha and maybe yondaime practicing his jutsu...

i sure wouldn't mind getting filler content added to non-filler plot material...it'll

- widen the gap between anime and manga
- won't disappoint the fans as much b/c it'll still be on the manga's track, but little by little

Don't ask, it's manga-only. Naruto_fan hasn't been taking me seriously when he's been warned 3 times already not to talk about it, so I'm giving him a tempban. It's a small request, I don't see why some of you guys are having so much trouble obeying it.

so um can anyone give an actual answer on what is the last filler episode or when its gonna end ? cuz i would look foward to the story getting back on track. rather than the story flipping off the track and on its way off the cliff O_O

Somebody here wrote a long time ago (yeah, such an expression is unfortunately already deadly accurate) that if the date was known for real, it would be all over the net for everybody to readily read. Nothing like that is, however, to be found. That pretty much proves the studio bosses have made no further statements.

I've only had to endure the fillers for like 6 months, >_<; 6 months has felt like forever.

If they continue to make fillers with the same high quality as ep. 195, I think it'll be ok for a while longer.

It might be a while for the Naruto Anime team to catch up to the manga, since no one is entirely sure when there'll be a break in it. They're probably just seizing the opportunity of the 2 year gap between the sasuke chase arc and part 2 to make sure they don't pass by the manga.

If you're familiar with the manga, you'll know that they haven't made a significantly large step away from the last non-filler Naruto episode. It literally took me... 6 hours, maybe, to catch up on it starting from the chapters after the chase arc. In perspective, that'll fill up about one season... plus half of another one. Maybe.

If you're really not satisfied with the fillers, my best suggestion would be to pick up the manga (if you haven't already) or just pretend like Naruto is an American show and has seasons with breaks (ie: stop watching it).

This is one damn long seasonal break. The last filler crap I saw I think was the Rock Lee Curry of life arc. For me Naruto is as good as dead and buried right now.

The arc with lots of element from Anko's past also started very promisingly, yet the final battles weren't exactly brilliant. And that's not the only filler arc that took such a turn to worse.
