    Hayate the Combat Butler!

This series is one that I'm looking forward to, because I really enjoy the manga, it's silly and fun, so hope it goes well becoming into an anime series.

    From ANN :
According to the Shonen Sunday News Page, Hayate the Combat Butler (Hayate no Gotoku) will be made into a TV anime series. A future issue of Shonen Sunday will include an announcement about when the show will be aired and which network will carry it.

Shougakukan will be screening an original Hayate animated short at their upcoming "Next Generation World Hobby Fair." The Fair will take place in a number of cities, including Osaka, Tokyo, Nagoya and Fukuoka.
16-year-old Hayate is really down on his luck. Because his unemployed parents are good-for-nothings who waste what money they have on gambling, Hayate had to start working at a young age to help out his family. Although such experience has made him inhumanly fast and tough and skilled at things boys aren`t normally skilled it, it has also left him in an awkward position, as his parents have racked up such a huge gambling debt that they have sold Hayate to the yakuza for the value of his organs. In a desperate attempt to avoid that fate, Hayate decides to become a “bad guy” and kidnap someone to be held for ransom, but his efforts to do so are mistaken as a confession of love by the girl he targets. When he helps save the (as it turns out) ultra-wealthy 13-year-old Nagi from real kidnappers, she takes him in and gives him a job as her new personal butler (and love interest) until he can pay off his debt. But Hayate is more attracted to Nagi`s beautiful teenage maid Maria, and head butler Klaus is initially disapproving of the boy with such a poor look. And then there`s Nagi`s pet Tama, who is also a force to be reckoned with.

Total randomness again. Not as much as Lucky Star, but still pretty up there.

I didn't really like this episode. There wasn't really a focus at all. I did like the mentioning that screencappers should be on high alert during the whole episode, and then providing numerous slow shots and several angles. The Lancelot reference was amusing as well, but Lucky Star had a reference to CG too this week. ("Buy me the Le***ch manga")

This episode just didn't have "it" like the other anime exclusive episode and the main storyline.

Huh, whaddya know ... eclipse is on their usual schedule ...

[Eclipse] Hayate no Gotoku!! - 22 (XviD)
    [Eclipse] Hayate no Gotoku!! - 22 (720p h264)

surprised nobody posted 20 or 21.

I guess there's not much to talk about with this series though ...

This show's enjoyability really droped of for me around the episodes where Hayate went to school. Maybe I'm not getting the jokes anymore or something but it's felt fairly bland for a while.

yea... the last two eps (20-21) were uneventful. enjoyable but nothing to talk about.
22 was funny as hell tho and a lot happened. and several Haruhi references!

I think it simply gets repetitive, having no real plot. All people can talk about it "I liked this joke, or that joke" and that gets tiring and pointless fast.

Oh, and it seems like I understood everything about each character after seeing them only once. They really should develop them a bit more.

    Peace.

The narrator really makes this series. Can you imagine what this series would be like without that voice? I can't.

I absolutely agree. I liked that voice ever since I first heard it in the anime Gargoyle of the Yoshinagas. He played a freaking stone statue there that cant move any part of its body (but can teleport and shoot lasers), and thus had no expressions, but his voice made it possible to understand and be funny and interesting.

His role in Code Geass and Baccano was unfitting though.

Finally caught up... I was still on episode 11 or so. Hopefully Hayate can learn an Ultimate Technique soon. This show could use a bit more action, all the action scenes are well animated, so they are fun to watch.

By the way, how loyal has this been to the manga so far?

ugh... isn't there anyone else watching this?

    25: http://torrents.no-sekai.de/eclipse/...5d.avi.torrent
    26: http://torrents.no-sekai.de/eclipse/...5d.avi.torrent
    27: http://torrents.no-sekai.de/eclipse/...5d.avi.torrent

25-26 are okay... but i think 27 was my favourite episode so far. the fights are really well animated.

    I'm still watching it.
This butler tournament is extremely cliché, but still..

    Hinagiku-san is quite strong.

And.. You Gotta Be Fucking Kidding Me!

This gotta be the worst bullshit I have ever seen in a Anime, why the hell are they there!?
It's so obvious it's not even funny.
