Yes, knowing a little about the next episode can be all that bad. Previews reveal things that could otherwise be some of the biggest suspense or plot twist moments in the series. For an example of a REALLY bad episode preview, watch the one at the end of 122. It didn't even take me very long to find a good example.

I think his point is that this section is supposed to be a haven from spoilers, where people are left just as in the dark as people who watch shows with no accompanying manga or other external source of information. The mods/whoever have decreed that this section should be safe from content not yet aired. Apparently this inclueds any content not aired in it's own full episode form. So by rule, even a complete idiot with no common sense at all shouldn't be able to accidentally spoil his or her self in any way while browsing this section.
This is why I don't get why this thread is allowed in here at all. Not that I care about spoilers, but supposedly rules are rules...yet...
I'm fairly certain episode previews HAVE been allowed in the normal discussin thread before. Take the episode 71 discussion, for instance: http://forums.gotwoot.net/showthread.php?t=4291
Several people talk about the preview and screenshots of it are even posted (page 13), but no moderators seem to care. Ah, the days of 15 page discussion threads.

Yeah, it's been allowed, but after a certain episode, I'm pretty sure the rules of the forum changed. I think people stopped caring once the fillers started, but from some point on it's been a rule to consider discussing the preview a spoiler.
And now ANN has episode 200 up with some stupid filler named episode. I can only hope the fillers really are ending and ANN is just playing with our minds.
*EDIT*
Just checked ANN's website (6:00 pm PST) and it looks like they removed episode 200 filler title. So the hope remains, though slim.
