Animenewsnetwork has not had false information up about the Naruto anime ever, as far as I know. They had info on fillers from 4 weeks before they came out at some points, and the episode titles were always nearly exactly what they ended up being. That being said, this could still be a hoax, it just seems unlikely due to their accuracy to this point.

Finally! If this is all true then Kakashi should be standing next to that rock very soon! Now after ~60 weeks of random junk (64 ep numbers from 136 to 200, 2 hour long specials, 1 no Naruto week for the movie, and 1 for whatever week/weeks I may be forgeting ), we can finally go back to criticizing Kishimoto for not giving us what we want as opposed to the filler writers.

Just remember everyone, it will be better, but you still might not like it...

On another note: I'll let it slide for now, since it's all speculation in anticipation of the fillers ending. But once it's confirmed that the story is going back on track, we'll probably have to stop with the title announcements, as we all know how obscenely spoilerrific anime titles always end up being.

I'm quite sure alot of people don't watch the next episode preview, not wanting to be spoiled. Plus, sometimes, in fact often times, the episode titles go more than one week in advance. I think it's ok to continue posting episode titles, as long as the people going to the ep title thread know they might see slight spoilers.

I have no idea what the official gotwoot stance is on this.

And uhh, I just looked at ANN episode titles and saw this shit. If they're posting obviously fake titles like this, why should we believe them about the end of the fillers?

EDIT: Actually, it looks like they started letting people add whatever they want to the episode titles. Or have they always done this? I don't think we should believe them about the end of the fillers since anyone could've added them.

I dunno if the ep preview summaries I read earlier on gamefaqs were correct or not but from what I read 197-199 is just the start of the next arc.
