OMGWTFBBWPWNAGE!
What a breath of fresh air after all the stagnant romance/drama/psychological stuff this season.
Been awhile since a Kekkaishi release, good thing I didn't have to download any new ones since my PC was dead.
This may have taken forever to get released but it was certainly worth it. With all the fluff currently out its nice to have just some action like Yukimura said. Seems they have a few more episodes translated so hopefully the releases of this get back on track.
I hope they'll release the h264 versions as well. I wouldn't want to go back and forth between xvid and h264. It looks stupid in the file list. I have the beginning of the series in avi but then I changed to the mp4 downloads.
Edit. Wait and thou shall be rewarded:
Episodes 36-37 h264 - Yoroshiku

Man, Gagin felt so weak compared to all the Zako ayakashi that come around all the time that can tear through Kekkai's like nothing.
Just watched this episode, very good... I'm glad they are killing off characters, Gin was nice to have, but he's more useful being dead. I want an allout war though... hopefully it'll happen eventually. It would be nice to have an episode fully dedicated to the Yagyou... like in their last mission, it would've been nice to see them all in action.
Well from a long wait to a short wait 38 and 39 are up.

Two nice episodes, some changes done from the manga that I noticed, but nothing major... like they changed the orders of some scenes, and some of the characters involved... nothing of importance though, it's actually better this way.
I thought the scene with Yoshimori and Gen's sister could've been handled better, but the little backstory in the Yagyou was nice... I think the little kid there might get more screen time in the future, helping Yoshimori... though he seems weak at the moment, so I may be mistaken.
It could happen... With Yoshimori as the master! Honestly Gen was far more proficient in his trade than Yoshimori, so it would be quite a change if the tables were turned the next time (quite unlikely, of course, considering Karasumori is now constantly under attack so it would be a murder to send a noob there). Still, it would be interesting.Originally Posted by Munsu
Well if the kid was to be sent there he likely wouldn't go alone but rather with the group that Gen use to be part of instead. Still unlikely as the area is a killing field for now but not unheard of atleast. They really need some sort of backup though.Originally Posted by Kraco

Edit: I liked this episode a lot. The humour was jolly good in the sequence of scenes of Yoshimori trying to catch up with the old Yukimura granny. And the lecture she gave him was one of the better ones in the whole series. Also, Yoshimori's brother had certainly some nice plans. I was expecting Masamori to confront the masked big boss a bit more forcefully considering he probably has already guessed the dude isn't quite clean, but I suppose they must play careful and indirect games in those circles where nobody, in the end, might not be totally clean after all.

I can't wait for the next major battle but at the same time I'm very interested in the constant plot/character developement episodes we get in this show. Nothing feels to slow and I'm never sitting around annoyed at them wasting episodes.
Also I'm very happy with the subbing group I can always head to there page and get a update on which stage of release future episodes are in so I never feel like I'm waiting for nothing despite that one very large gap between releases earlier.
41 is in typesetting and 42 is in editing so it shouldn't even be that long before we get some more episodes.
Edit:
alright 41 is out

Nice episode. I liked crows as they fought back. Yoshimori also used detection technique similar to his brother as he was able to see silulets of intruders all around him.

Wrong title there mate.Originally Posted by Yukimura
You got the URL right, but it's 42, not 41.
Here,
Kekkaishi - 42 (1024x576) H264 - [Yoroshiku]
Kekkaishi - 42 XviD - [Yoroshiku]
Wrong title or not, here's the next ep nevertheless:
Episode 43 h264 - Yoroshiku
Episode 43 xvid - Yoroshiku
Finally starting to get remotely interesting. Even with Gen's death I wasn't enthralled with the series, maybe that'll change from now on!
Wait seriously you watched 43 episodes of a series you didn't really care for in the first place?
Anyway another good episode seems another big battle will be happening as of next episode which is always good. I'm actually glad they really took the time to grow the characters between the earlier fight and the loss of Gen and now.
