I guess we posted it at the same time, heh. Sorry about that.
@ShadowFlame You should refresh right before you post, but I guess since your mom was a Mappy it was inevitable.
Anyway the only real highlight of this ep was the green bell pepper dance, specifically Shigure doing the green bell pepper dance. Good times.
Fixed, and I agree. It was more of a transition ep, but seeing Loki get schooled by Berserker in cards was somewhat revealing as well as the dialogue surrounding Berserker. It really seems as if there's some weirdness up at the top of Ragnarök; Odin's portrayed as this godlike (heh) fighter who's untouchable, but Berserker has more of an air of mystery to him, if that's possible.Originally Posted by Yukimura
Furthermore, who doesn't like shots of Kisara squee-ing over cats? That was fairly hilarious, as was Nijima's new scheme.
Nijima is a sly bastard. Actually he's just as bad as Loki, but maybe has a bit less balls and less resources in terms of personal strength (obviously) and also external resources. Though the former major point may only be a result of the latter. Thus, it wasn't a surprise his method of recruiting Kisara didn't meet much excitement even among his own camp. It's not like people would like to get rid of Loki's unpleasant company just to find themselves in the company of another one.
Lol, I can't believe I forgot about the cats, that was pretty hilarious. Especially when Sieg was just whipping them out of his coat like pens.
And Nijima's manipulations don't seem even remotely as nefarious as Loki's which means that either he's not really so bad in comparison or he's just so much more manipulative that you can't even tell his intentions. But considering the mindset of the grunts he keeps around I can't really see him becoming a real villain if he manages to take out all of Ragnarok.

Thanks, dl-ing now, will comment after naptime.
Yikes...I have work tomorrow...
Lol good old Kenichi, always meeting his rivals in the most random places and trying to be their friend. It seems the endgame has more or less been revealed now. All that remains is the actual execution. I just hope Kenichi learns/invents more new stuff before it's over.
really nice ep. Its good that they've finally introduced the saint of fists. I wonder how strong he is compared to the rest of the masters. I'd bet he's on par with them, but in a one on one match he'd be outwitted cuz he'd just be too berserk and out of control.
The preview looked nice too...kisara and big boobs fighting side by side. We finally get to see the 2nd and 3rd fists fight. Seems like we're in for some intense fights.
On the episode: It seemed like it was going to be slow until Feng Wei took down Kuma -- um, I mean until SoF wrecked that bear. It's pretty cool how everything's come full circle to Ryozanpaku again. Also, they did a pretty good job IMO of masking the dude's identity until the end. Knowing what we know about the types of martial artists, F6's disposition makes a whole lot of sense. It's interesting though that F1 has the Seikuuken yet SoF is the crazy type of fighter, and he trained F1...wonder if there's actually more than meets the eye, or maybe it's just that he had more than one teacher and the other taught him the Seikuuken...?
On the previews: That move that Miu did over Kisara's back is pretty sweet. Also, it looks like even F2's fighting skill is no match for Nijima's running-away skill, although he may have let him go to humiliate him.
There's pretty much no way that Takeda is going to be able to survive a full-on fight with F2, though; hopefully Kenichi will be back in time to save them before they get owned. I find it doubtful that he'll have a seikuuken to rival F1's in a single episode though. This is going to get interesting.

I wouldn't underestimate Elder-san's training. Remember they've only been in the forest for like 3 days or so, they've still got another half a week to go before they go back. I think the elder is going to mercilessly teach Kenichi all about Seikuken and give him a solid fighting level-up.
Well, then Takeda and Ukita will be leaving the list of recurring characters next episode. It's too bad; I liked Takeda a lot. Oh well, hopefully Hermit will return and fill the void left in my heart.
^^ im dying to see the results >_< But i think the story is going to continue after Kenichi fights Odin.

Great ep... Nijima actually surprised me. and its true, Berserker won't even be able to walk in that town again (well if he cares anyways)
Lol I love how Nijima always manages to come through in a pinch, but what's he going to do when Berserker jumps out of that hole! As usual this episode was very enjoyable as the action-comedy blend in Kenichi is always excellent.
