Episode 15 - umai-Doremi
Hmm... It looks like this comedic detour is going to be a bit longer than just episode 15, according to the preview. I doubt you will be getting back to serious fights just yet, Bud. However, the next episode looks like it could be hilarious. This one wasn't as funny as I expected, but alright in any case.

The episodes weren't that bad, they had their funny moments... Looks like will have a bit of fighting in the next episode.
#16 was funnier than the previous one, and quite good. But those people aren't certainly blessed with acting skills, which, of course, made it all the better. The preview of the next episode did look promising. It's nice to get back to fighting for a change. Though the opponents weren't really shown, but hopefully they will be as formidable as Kenichi made them out to be.
I wouldn't trust Kenichi, they probably suck.
Let's see, then, the measure of the challengers.

Another great ep, lots of parody referances, culminatiing with the awesome over 9000 thing, which I don't believe for a second was the original dialogue, but was still hilarious. And next ep looks even better, Miyu in a bikini and Shigure in nothing but bandages...and fighting. Next ep can't come fast enough.
Yeah, I don't think that was the actual dialogue either... I think he said something about "dan" rank... like "8 dan masters" to say that they are really good and such, so I don't think it was said that it was actually a power level.Originally Posted by Yukimura

So next episode is the beach episode, hope to see some good Shigure moments... Hopefully this will be the end of the light hearted series of episodes and we can finally get back to the Ragnarok fights.

Shigure just gets better and better. She was actually pretty awesome as a teacher in addition to her sexy bandage outfit. I wonder how many people in japan still wear that kind of stuff for under garments.
And while Shigure stole the show Miu's blue bathing suit was nothing to scoff at either. I'll miss the service, but the next fight is with a chick with a decent rack, so I'm sure we'll at least get a little jiggle action or something next time. And besides that...it's a fight!!!! Go Kenichi!
Also: Kuro-Hana released ep 19!!!
Kenichi is awesome, somehow he's improved in the last few eps enough to ruin the crazy haired guy who first beat his ass. And the Valkyrie girl seems more and more confusing every time we see her. If she wanted to get rid of Kenichi why not just do it and be done with it?

This timing of Kuro-Hana's 21 is a bit shady...they came out with it only a couple hours after Doremi released 20, with no 20 of their own. But it is a leechers market and if people want their Kenichi now, who's to say someone shouldn't give it to them.

20 very nice lots of new techniques shown and plenty of good old Kenichi resolve.
21...Kenichi's shounen hero power up was excellent, those poor grunts never stood a chance! But more importantly...Miu is even more frightening then the masters, since she seems to also have similar murderer level abilities but isn't completely in control of herself. That face she made before her last attack was pretty scary, as if she really wanted blood.

Great episodes kenichi is really becoming stronger
i wonder how strong the 8 fists are. i hope they dont make them strogner then miu, cuz that would ruin her badass image, especially since she was ready to beat on that karate master (crab head) a few eps ago...and that guy seemed fairly strong. Atleast stronger then any delinquent gang leader.

Crab head hermit? Crab head was the challenger that came to the dojo, Hermit is one of the eight fists. But I agree on the theory that there are stronger members of eight fists than Hermit, because it would be strange if the next opponent was already the strongest one. Well, assuming Hermit will be the next opponent. But considering he should have been the one to punish Takeda, not Valkyrie, it makes it likely, I reckon.

For some reason, I expected Kenichi to be much more confident by now... 24 episodes and he's still weak and cowardly? wtf... he should have some bit of confidence and skill by now.
Maybe I'm just expecting too much at once. :/
