    History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi

Yes finally! I been waiting for groups to pick this up. I really like the manga a lot, and been waiting for groups to sub this. Hope the anime will be just as good as the manga.

    Here is :

    Episode 1 - umai-Doremi

Shirahama Kenichi is awalys bullied by the classmates. One day, he sets out his mind to become strong, following an advice of a beautiful girl, Furinji Miu, he goes to a martial arts school. However, it was a tremendously hard school where the strongest martial arts masters teach...

I've been following the manga scans of this series for a long time. It's ecchi, but not to TenTen levels. Most of this centers on Miu. It's really more of a comedy series, with the teachers at the martial arts school all having really odd personalities.

To me, a good analog is calling it the School Rumble of martial arts series. I hope the anime doesn't divert too far from that.

EDIT: It's still there. I'll keep an eye on this one, and see where they go with it.

Hmm... Sounds interesting. Sumomomomomomomomo was something of a disappointment, so maybe I should have a look at this. Well done martial arts fights are nice to watch. And if it has odd characters, ecchi, and humour mixed in, well, it could be a really good mix.

    FUCKING AWESOME!!!

I love the manga, it's a pity that it doesn't get released very often, but this is an awesome series, and now it's an anime.

    Downloading it now.

Hmm... It didn't look bad, although I think the dude was made far too weak. Too exaggerated. I mean, no living human would probably be like that. Sure the point is to make him stronger at the peculiar dojo, but I think a little bit moderation wouldn't have made it any worse or less to the point.

Well, if he gets rid of much of that uber cowardice in the next few episodes, I think I will like this series well enough. For sure I will continue to watch this.

Just a question to the perhaps more knowledgeable members on this board (I hadn't seen it addressed and maybe I missed something glaring)...

Why exactly did Hermit stab himself near the end of ep. 34? The only explanation I have for that is that maybe he didn't want that chick to be able to wield her knife freely, and the only way to stop her was to sheath it...in his pectoral muscle. But that honestly doesn't seem like a very good explanation. If he had just delivered the "Backhand Service" and then jumped down afterward, he'd have been fine for the fight against Kenichi.

a poorly done plot advancement, thats all it was. I laughed at that scene too.

haha, okay, thanks for the clear-up. The oddity of his stabbing himself was in fact vastly overshadowed by the pure OWN of that ace he delivered to basically #20's entire body. The quiver and sticking to the wall = amazing.

Of course, what's even more amazing was the exit that Odin used after warning Hermit. Odin, while a great fighter, shouldn't have any actual powers (it would be out of place, and I don't think his aura/ki shield actually counts as a power in that category). So his training allowed him to leave in such a manner. This man is too strong.

Haven't Kuro-Hana released 42 also? I found someone with it on DC. Although i have no idea if it's real. but I'm sure you people can find out. And then maybe put up a link to a torrent for the rest of the group.

@ShadowFlame You should refresh right before you post, but I guess since your mom was a Mappy it was inevitable.

Anyway the only real highlight of this ep was the green bell pepper dance, specifically Shigure doing the green bell pepper dance. Good times.

Fixed, and I agree. It was more of a transition ep, but seeing Loki get schooled by Berserker in cards was somewhat revealing as well as the dialogue surrounding Berserker. It really seems as if there's some weirdness up at the top of Ragnarök; Odin's portrayed as this godlike (heh) fighter who's untouchable, but Berserker has more of an air of mystery to him, if that's possible.

Furthermore, who doesn't like shots of Kisara squee-ing over cats? That was fairly hilarious, as was Nijima's new scheme.

Nijima is a sly bastard. Actually he's just as bad as Loki, but maybe has a bit less balls and less resources in terms of personal strength (obviously) and also external resources. Though the former major point may only be a result of the latter. Thus, it wasn't a surprise his method of recruiting Kisara didn't meet much excitement even among his own camp. It's not like people would like to get rid of Loki's unpleasant company just to find themselves in the company of another one.

Lol, I can't believe I forgot about the cats, that was pretty hilarious. Especially when Sieg was just whipping them out of his coat like pens.

And Nijima's manipulations don't seem even remotely as nefarious as Loki's which means that either he's not really so bad in comparison or he's just so much more manipulative that you can't even tell his intentions. But considering the mindset of the grunts he keeps around I can't really see him becoming a real villain if he manages to take out all of Ragnarok.
