GG subbed the Suzaku of the Counterattack teaser, so Im guessng its real. What scares me is the fucking title. If the story makes Suzaku the main character Im going to go nuts. But its so likely I feel like Im gonna vomit right now.

Peace.
Yeah. The Picture Book 6.75 is valid, though. But it's nothing you would really miss. In fact, five minutes after watching it I had already forgotten what it was all about. No humour, Karen in a pool or nice info like in the earlier ones, really.
It reminds me Bleach somehow,
Side 1 against Side 2 ...
What we need, is just something twisted, like something we don't expect.
A third party, Chinese ? EU ? Orange-kun, Nina pwning Suzaku ? (Kof)
Because it's too obvious, Cornellia or Zero, someone got to die ...
And I just don't want Zero or Cornellia to die ...
Cornellia seeing Zero's face ... Huh ... No way ... but maybe ...
There is a third side, and I believe they implied they will be moving in soon. In eps 23, they showed a Chinese leader from the backside (the very distinctive southeastern mountains of China in the background). Weak portions of the Chinese Federation have already become involved, but were quickly removed. Also, there is no EU. The world is either Britannia, the Chinese Federation, or Japan (Russia, Africa, and South America are not shown, but even if they aren't already annexed, they are apparently of no importance).
I'd also rather not see Cornelia die, but I think it's bound to happen. Even if she finds out Zero is her long lost half-brother, he also still killed Euphemia.
I'm more worried about Viletta...
The only thing that was an April Fool's joke was the preview for Suzaku Counterattack.Originally Posted by Illrenmazou

Actually, the EU still exists. In one of the episodes (I think it was the episode where Euphie announces her plan for the special adminstrative area for Japan), they show representatives for the EU along with the Chinese Federation.Originally Posted by Ryllharu
I seem to remember them multiple times referring to EU. I could be wrong, but whoever wrote the Code Geass wikipedia pages seem to share my recollection... Britannia rules their own island, (North) America, and probably as well all the other colonies Britannia ever ruled in our reality, plus some essential ones to the plot, like Japan.Originally Posted by Ryllharu
I just finised watching episode 22 and 23.
WOW, it's been said but I just needed to say it.
The order Lelouch gave just blew me away, I thought she was going to be able to go against in some way or be handled, but she got to say it and get involved and then when she got rescued I didn't think she was going to die, thinking that she might've been able to live some how, but it's great she didn't.
Also, C.C said Marianne, wasn't that Lelouch's mother's name?
I wish Nina would hurry up and die and stop turning me to stone every time I see her.
I like how things are proceding, there is no turning back now for Lelouch, or anyone for that matter. Now time for the wait.
Hmm, guess I was wrong about there being no EU. I figured that since Cornelia was attacking somewhere in the middle east when she was first introduced, that they had slowly been moving across the map, conquering everything.

Wow, this series really turned around in the last two episodes. They were almost at peace and now it's total war... And a lot of interesting developments. It looks like the geass commands can be resisted after all if they go enough against the victim's personality. I thought for a minute there Euphie was going to try to strangle Suzaku, but instead they had a nice death scene. And they introduced V V, the emperor's version of CC maybe? And our favorite Orange is back, as a cyborg no less.
I also did like the phone call scenes. Especially Lelouche talking to Nunally who was asking when they would get together with their sister again, and Lelouche being like, "Yeah, about that... um...." "Brother?" "Everything is fine. Yep, just fine. Gotta go." Wuss. And the call from Suzaku was a nice disconnect with Lelouche sitting in a control room about to launch an attack and suddenly switching his personality to comfort a friend. Who he's about to try and kill. Damn, but he's a good actor. I wonder which personality is more like his true self?
I also like the scene with the Japanese princess telling him she's a goddess of victory, and Lelouche saying that he's sorry, but he's already made a deal with the devil. True enough.
Last two episodes were kickass, yadda yadda yadda, pretty much the same comments as everyone else.
I think that Suzaku knows that Lelouch was the reason why Euphie got killed because of that V.V. guy. Last episode of the season is coming up and I got a feeling that Suzaku is going to die. I'm just glad that he's not going to be fighting for "justice" this time like a normal human being.
*spoilers*
Omg when heard about the teaser trailer for Code Geass: Suzaku of the Counterattack, I had horrifying flashbacks of GSD. Im glad that it was just a April fools joke.
Anyway I too just remembered that C.C. said Marianne's name. Does this mean that C.C. can also communicate with the dead?
And looking back at Kaguya she looks much younger then I thought she'd be, because of the opening sequences.
I really hope that Nina dies soon. I just hope that in the process she wont kill Lelouch.
And now the wait begins. I have to find a new show until CG comes back around, anyone got any suggestions?
*end of spoilers*
Aren't there still 2 episodes left?Originally Posted by kooshi
Yea, the last 2 episodes are going to air during the summer apparently. Anyways, since there's going to be a second season, I predict a 99.5% chance that Suzaku won't end up dying in the first season.
These last two episodes are what this series should have been from the beginning. To me, it always had a bit too much fanboi attitude and they litterally threw that out of the window now.
This increased the series quality by quite an amount to me, so Ill now join the other Fanbois that always liked it to begin with :P

It's not like these episodes could have had an impact anywhere this great if the episodes preceding them wouldn't have been what they were. That's what a climax is.
Well, I don't really care if there's fanboy attitude or not as long as it's just theatrics with good taste and not too corny or unbelievable. And this series excelled in that as far as I'm concerned.
Its too colorful to be a good Drama. Everything is so cheery, the character design is , to my taste, very smooth, and a bit too clean. Emotions are sloppy to my taste, but weve been through that :POriginally Posted by Kraco
So ye, this was definately an improvement, finally some real action.
I know im a little late (only episode 21) but Lloyd's gay?!! i totally didnt see that coming! And on another note...well ill watch 22 and 23 before i chime in about any serious stuff...
Uh? Since when was Lloyd gay? I just skimmed thru 21, and maybe it's due to Your-Mom's mistranslated stuff, but I don't see anything that indicates that.Originally Posted by rockmanj
