C.C. is not evil!!! Look at the pained look she had when Lelouch realized the terrible consequences of geass in that episode. She isnt good either, as seen in her reaction to the massacre being caused by the pink haired monster, but that is what makes her sooo cool, and me her fanboy.
This episode made code geass the undisputed favorite anime in my list. I was feeling nervous about how the show was going in the last few episodes, and I honestly was about to go into shock (from disgust) when Lelouch shook Euphies hand in defeat. Then IT happened. I realized all the happy euphie and suzaku bullshit was all just a set up for this. I was more overjoyed than surprised, yet suprise me it did. This is my favorite part of code geass, you never know what your gonna get. (pun intended)
Peace.

GG Code Geass 21

just watched 21 (I don't trust any of the groups who've released 22, but i'm certainly willing to switch to Shinsen if they start releasing faster than GG)
i'm absolutely amazed at Euphie. I suppose even a complete retard can sometimes do a great thing. It's true that her thinking on the matter is completely off-tilt, and I can't imagine the Britannian Emperor will honor such a whimsical treaty... But it fucks Lelouch right where it hurts. It's time that bitch got Geassed. Now it would be pretty dirty for Lelouch to use his trump card on her, seeing as how she's protected him by not revealing his identity, but this is war and Lelouch certainly seemed revved up to do something of that sort by the end of the episode.
I really like the stuff with Ougi and Viletta. I mean, sure it's sorta a sappy love story, but... and Viletta is uber hot!
LOL at Nina's terrified reaction to Euphie's announcement about "The Reservation"
Humans are different from animals. We must die for a reason. Now is the time for us to regulate ourselves and reclaim our dignity. The one who holds endless potential and displays his strength and kindness to the world. Only mankind has God, a power that allows us to go above and beyond what we are now, a God that we call "possibility".

Back to the story line. I also wait for the GG releases. It seems to me after watching 21 that he either has to use his trump card on her like Masa said or he will have to figure out a way to make sure she cannot become a problem again. I am really interested to see how he will do it without harming her in either a physical or emotional way.
I wonder if GG with ever get to par (time wise) with the other subbers...
I am amazed that you guys can wait for episode 22 without either dying from anticipation or getting spoiled by the flooding stuff in this forum. Well, I actually kind of understand the feeling, since I watch the raws, and I actually have to wait for a subbed episode til I can post about an episode. Thats why Im really glad other groups have subbed geass and are on time.
I dont really like Villeta. She comes off looking like a slut with amnesia, oh wait, she is a slut with amnesia, hmm.
Peace.
Don't be so hard on Viletta. She used to be so harsh and miserable, disgraced and stressed out. Remember how crazy she was acting when she was finding out who Zero was? Since she lost her memory, it finally seems like she's got a chance at happiness. A rare thing in this series as of late.
While we're on the topic of Viletta for once:
SPOILERS from Eps 22:
A lot of people seem to think that something is about to happen to Viletta, since she's in the stadium where everything's been happening. I believe I heard rape mentioned once or twice, though I'd think people are busy running. I'm going to speculate that she's be put into a particularly violent situation, and may be traumatized into regaining her memory. If that happens, will she forget what's happened so far with Ougi? Will she realize how close she is to the Black Knights and attempt to infiltrate? We know she has to regain her memory sooner or later, so these are some things we'll have to keep in mind.
Since she lost her memory, she has gotten hotter. I really want her to be happy, but I think Ougi is too curious to let things stay that way and be content. Unfaithful bastard.
GG watchers beware and all that crap...
She may remember parts of her memory, but considering the lateness of this development, she will most likely remember everything and be part of the climax of this season. Its highly unlikely that she will forget events with Ougi, since that doesnt really happen with real amnesia, and would simply disregard all the screen time and development the two had in the last few episodes. Im betting we will get to see some conflict between the innocent and all around nicer villeta and the ambitious villeta sometime soon. Still think she is a slut, but really more on how she looks.
Peace.
Well, this isn't exactly an overly nice series, the late development included, so in that sense all options are also available for how the Viletta situation. Thus, all things considered, I have hard time believing she would just end up living happily never regaining her memories and being spared from dirtying her hands once again. Actually I'm still wondering why so few important characters have died in this series so far. This is a really violent series, quite ruthless and certainly offering unexpected twists, so it would make sense for more people to die, even if it looks like this won't ever be one of the everybody dies series.
The problem with a character dying is that they cant be used on the story anymore. The pattern for code geass is to use and reuse characters in the most unexpected ways (ie Shirley, Euphie, Viletta). If they die, that wont be possible, and would probably lessen the luster of code geass, which I believe to be the complex relationships between the characters. They should die in the second season though, just to make it better and more realistic. (DIE SUZAKU DIE - inner thoughts)
Peace.
Clovis died early... Mao died too... and i don't see how this situation can be resolved without someone dying.
Aye, Clovis and Mao died, but I consider those two mainly tools for establishing some facts or settings. Clovis had to act like he did and then die by Lelouch's hand to create Zero the Terrorist, and Mao... Well, he was usable to give C.C. some history and then to establish the danger of a geass that's switched always on. However, I think those two weren't, beyond that, really important characters.
i just started watching last night, saw the first three episodes and think its pretty awesome. the first ep had me worried though with its strong similarities to gundam seed and then when lelouch and his friend meet up like athrun and kira i had to stop it and take a breather.
very interesting though the ability lelouch has.. cant wait to see how the story progresses.
Well looks like we won't be getting 24/25 till later this summer, which in my opinion is just bad planning....not to mention stupid.
R.I.P Captain America.
Arg 24/25 wont come out till summer. This is torture, not to mention, as I understand it, 23 leaves off at a huge cliff hanger. Lol maybe Sunrise will speed things up if we buy more Pizza
Btw: can any1 recommend a good site to find some sigs for code geass?

Like I stated before, this was set in stone even before the series began. At that time they didn't expect Code Geass to have such acceptance, nor a second season was planned.
Tv slots are separated months before the series begin, thus they planned it from the very beginning.
The series was slotted for 25 episodes I believe. That was common knowledge, and set in stone. Regardless of having a second season planned, how is having the 2 last episodes air in the summer planned? I'd assume that once they felt the popularity of the series skyrocketted, they probably decided it'd rake in more money to put those last 2 episodes on DVD or whatever. I bet if the series had not received such an ovation that the last 2 episodes would be airing right this season.Originally Posted by RyougaZell
The last two episodes weren't planned to be aired in summer. They were planned to be SOLD ON DVD from the very beginning. Yet, since the series got a second season they discarded that idea and found an air slot in summer. Another series is taking Code Geass' slot next week.
And the series isn't really 25 episodes for the tv stations. Recaps may not count for us, but they did count for whoever airs the series.
so, the second season is official? how did i miss that?Originally Posted by RyougaZell
