<3 Tessa-chan! <3 Lucifus! ....chotto mate.
You should get your links somewhere else dude... like Tokyo Toshokan.
Like Yukimura said, are the OftBK useless without Zero, Ougi and Kallen in their ranks? Without their leader, their previous-leader and their pilot of their best Knightmare can't they function?
I can't belive that with such a massive army they had they suddenly got overwhelmed...
I hope that the gunshot we heard was Kallen's and directed at Suzaku... even if Lelouch used the japanese and maybe doesn't care about them I don't see Kallen shot him, because used or not, Zero/Lelouch has made them move forward together, something no one else had managed.
@kenren - Sorry! Youre right, Ill change it immediately.
A huge army is useless without a capable leader, and only Zero was up for that insane task.
Peace.
It's still unbelievable that with capable leaders like Todou to run the military branch, Diethard to run the covert ground operations, and the other members of the original core group (minus Kinoue, the purple haired girl who exploded) who have been either on their own before they joined the Black Knights, or can at least run a smaller group on their own, wouldn't lose control that badly. It's not like Ougi could have done all that much if he hadn't been shot, I never once saw him as a capable leader.
It's true they needed Zero to coordinate effectively, but they must be able to do something on their own. I suppose it would be Zero's fault for becoming such an icon to his troops.
It really makes you wonder what will happen in season 2. Shirley may yet tell the others who Zero is, Kallen may even do so as well. His army is in shambles from their lack of ability to lead themselves (amazingly), Britannian reinforcements are on their way, so the rebellion will probably be crushed pretty easily, if they don't outright disband from sinking morale. That leaves Lelouch with...what exactly?
With one hell of a job to fix...
While I hate Suzaku, I hope he doesn't die and returns to Britannia... since I don't really see anyone else being Lelouch's antagonist.
Kallen and the Japanse should swallow their pride (berate Lelouch if they want) but still follow him. Like I said... and like others have said... they need Zero... without him, Britannian Prince or not, they can not win this war.
Anyone knows when Season 2 starts?
funny how Nunnaly is the reason why everything went wrong. it nearly looks likes it's been planned.
I believe it was supposed to be some time in October, but that's hearsay and I haven't been able to find a source to back it up yet.Originally Posted by RyougaZell

EDIT: Found another source stating October 5th. It's not 100% reliable, but that is when the fall season generally starts. A TV magazine mentioned it.
Oh yeah. That is much earlier than I expected.
Peace.
No kidding...
After the long wait for ep 24 and 25... an October release fells just around the corner.
I want Lelouch to kill Nina... then someone resurrect her so CC can kill again... and repeat the process so now Kallen gets here... heck... even Suzaku would be good to kill her....
What did Suzaku try to say to Lelouch to make him berserk? Something like I'll take Nunnally into my be... Into his bed? You bastard, Suzaku!
it was translated by Your-Mom that way... I think it would literally translate into something like "I will be Nunnaly's..." And it wasn't at that that Lelouch went angry... but at the, "The future doesn't mean anything for you" statementOriginally Posted by animus
edit: just realized that Lelouch probably had this reaction cuz Suzaku dismissed him trying to save Nunally as unimportant.
Code Geass 24-25 HQ - [Your-Mom]
Supposedly they actually looked at the script this time before encoding it.
That's like the first time they've ever done that right?
R.I.P Captain America.
Bed?
Heck.. Im glad I saw the HQ version instead of that other...
Wow, I can really say that Code Geass is one of the best anime i've ever seen. So much packed into those last 2 episodes, just to make you wait longer for a season 2.
It's hard to say how the 2nd season might start. As people have mentioned, Lelouche had a trump card. -you shoot me, you die too cause I have a bomb strapped to me- so if he did get shot, more than likely, nothing fatal.
But..I don't think many people brought it up, but it was apparent that that mysterious blonde kid lured Lelouche to that island, therefore, he has some purpose for luring him out there.
But..also, like some have said, it's possible that for some crap-awful reason they turn around and make Suzaku the main character of the story. (if that were the cause..not sure I could continue the series, as I find Suzaku to be one of the most annoying characters I've ever seen)
But, whatever the outcome be, can't wait for season 2, I hope sunrise dosen't let us down with season 2 and gives us a 2nd season that is as great as the first season was and hopefully still follow lelouche. ^^'
This place is full of hasty people, but the dawn comes eventually even for those not so hasty:
Episodes 24-25 - gg
LOL they forged the CRC to be 00000000. Cute.
The name of the series is Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, so I doubt Lelouch will be offed. And furthermore, you can't kill the main character and continue a series unless the story was built like that right from the beginning. Important characters are killed for special effect and to drive changes in the remaining main characters. Killing Lelouch would be quite meaningless unless the second season was supposed to tell about someone else to begin with. However, Lelouch's story wasn't finished yet, so that would be a dubious way indeed.
I didn't get that kind of a feeling at all. I don't believe in one or two lines changing a character that has been established for a long time. Especially in a rather more unique series like Code Geass where people don't always speak the truth like in too many anime out there. The huge difference between Light and Lelouch is that Light cared for absolutely noone but himself and his own ideas, whereas Lelouch believes in a lot of people.Originally Posted by Yuki
This was shown numerous times when Lelouch let Suzaku and others live, even though he must have known it might later prove a harmful choice. But he respected those other people's fight for their own ideals. Light, however, used diligently every opportunity to kill anybody who could turn harmful and didn't give a shit about what others thought. Nah, you can't even compare those two. One was a real villain, one an anti-hero.
Ah, well. Back to the old waiting game. But it sure was delightful to see C.C. again...
Predictions for season 2:
This is a Sunrise series after all, so the obvious prediction is that with the powers that reside in this huge organization that we can only call "The Church" (the group C.C. belongs to) that in the final episode, everyone will be brought back to life or found to only have been missing.
...except V.V., who will receive a horribly painful death by Nunnally's hands.
Joking aside, what I've really enjoyed all season long is Suzaku's "decent into evil." He probably has some of the best character development in the series. We first see him as a self-sacrificing hero, willing to die for his best friend's life. Then once he gains power, he uses it to uphold his ideals to save people and do good from within. Perfectly contrasted with Lelouch's first use of power, forcing soldiers to kill themselves. Then we finally see a bit of the truth about Suzaku. He murdered his father in order to stop the war and prevent the killing. Still within his ideal, minimizing deaths, but his methods are no longer quite so different from Lelouch's. Euphie's death and holding the school hostage has now led to this, Suzaku is hardly distinguishable from Lelouch. He still hides behind a veil of honor, but the two are much closer than they ever were before.
EDIT:
[gg] - Code Geass Picture Book 8.75
Having already had the obligatory bath/onsen special, this would be the obligatory swimsuit dvd special. Euphie in a "cutesy" swimsuit, Corenelia's daring one, Cecile's very elegant one, the school council's more standard ones, and Sayoko's 60's swimsuit (my personal favorite of the lot tied with Cecile).
Nothing of real character development value here, like with the first special or the Orange/Viletta one, just fanservice. Nothing wrong with that.
