    Woman kills husband, cooks him

A WOMAN who stabbed her de facto husband to death before skinning him and making a meal for his children out of his body parts has lost an appeal against the severity of her life sentence.

That's very twisted to say the least. Like from some horror anime show.

Hard to believe things like this happen in the real world, but like they say, the reality is stranger than fairy tales.

"The crime was the product of a violent personality intent upon claiming the life of her de facto (husband) in a relationship which was plainly failing."

Well, it's not like the kids were little. They were adults... but I guess that doesn't make it any less strange.

So...how does that appeal process work. I killed my husband then got caught in the act of preparing part of him to serve to his kids with some veggies and gravy, I admitted I did it and but i'm not sorry or anything...so why should I be locked away for the rest of my life?????

Yeah, that's exactly what I thought of as well the second I read it. I refrained from making the connection straight away though. I feel my first post get my feelings across accurately enough.

What a sad world that we live in where this kind of shit can actually happen. I'm still amazed that the woman got off with just life in prison. This is one situation where I believe that capital punishment should be applicable...
