    Aye. It seems to me this series is wasting potential at a record rate. Considering this is a 12 eps series and nothing at all has happened in the first eight episodes, you can only ask what the hell they were planning to achieve with all this?

    yeah, this series lost me back at episode 5. The story has no real direction, and considering the material this show is derived from the action is just weak. It had potential, but they just wasted it.

    Next episode looks like it might be good. Finally something to do with Sparda. Although I am a bit disappointed with the anime. I guess the studio feels that Dante being badass against these random demons is fanservice enough. I'll watch it until the end...came this far, might as well see what the bigger plot is.

    I don't mind it; I never played any of the games, and it seems pretty cool. Not deep or anything, but I'm confused about the role of that annoying laughing guy with the gimped face. I suppose I'll find out who he is next ep or the 12th.

    The series is a bit disappointing but at least the music is good. Nipponsei released the OST for it.

    The soundtrack has some good stuff on it, I have a couple of favorites from it. I really wish the series had been as awesome as I was expecting it to be though...

    anyway.. an overall okay series, although we expected it to be better.

    wait..so the first time Dante dismembers the demon with his guns, it was unaffected and manages to put Dante out of commission for more then half the episode where at the end he's finished off with the same method?

    did patty have that pendant all along? If it was just a fragment and it managed to open the portal to the demon world how come they couldn't use the broken pendant to open the portal?

    I have to admit i did get excited when Dante's eyeball changed for a second...kinda like when a high school kid cops a peek up some girl's skirt..

    This turned out to be a pretty hollow series. But I guess it would serve as a snack for any DMC fans. But on its own it was light stuff indeed.

    i just finished the show and it was kinda "blah" for me. i really wanted to see Dante transform and use some of his sick skillz, but nooooo. In all it was ok ,not great but ok.

    Get your facts together. His twin brother is Virgil. Nero is a character from DMC 4. And if there would be a second season I hope it would have some kind of actual story in it.

    I think Fuyuki is mixing up Nero with Nelo Angelo (aka Virgil).

    Btw, I never even bothered with this series, even though I am a DMC fan. Is this something I could possibly tolerate, or just a really big waste of time?
