    Devil May Cry

    Were unable to find any previous post about the DMC anime coming up so i thought i'd share what i know with you.
    There's not too much information around at this moment but the popular devil may cry game series for the playstation is going to be made into a 12 episode anime series. It will start in spring 2007. Unable to find any more information then that at this point, there's just a small teaser trailer out this far

    I really hope this'll be cool.. the teaser looked decent, but I can't see how the artwork will be..
    I don't know what to expect from the series, but I'm looking forward to it anyways..
    I think it'll take skill to screw up a series with Dante in it. Lucky for us, all those people are too busy with the Naruto fillers

    Well the animators are the guys that did Nana and Death Note, so it gonna be at least good quality. Hopefully some good VO will be at work here

    In my opinion, the little girl has to go.. it's getting cheesey. Demons need to start being a challenge. We need to know the background of Dante more. Finally, there has to be some sort of boss that can actually kick Dante's ass.

    On a side note, Shinta|hikari is posting like crazy at the moment, and my beloved Claymore thread has been pushed to 2nd page QQ.

    Sorry bout that, just had too much time lately, and too little to do.

    The claymore thread should get pushed back up soon enough, since the new episode comes out today.

    For some reason I like that little girl, well probably because she IS a little girl.

    Really, if the series doesn't get a decent fight in that lasts more than 30 sec i'm probably going to lose intrest. As stated it's fine to have him whip everthings ass just to establish the fact that he's a bad ass in the first few episodes, but now they need to start adding some fight sequences with a bit more substance.

    I like her too. More specifically I like a setting where there's a badass man and a little girl accompanying him. And I don't mean any h-setting, but a setting like in this series or something even better.

    The anime is interesting, but it needs to stop with this whole job hunting arc, i want to see the damn devil trigger, at least the ending op ep7 hinted at something bigger going on behind the scenes.

    All I can say about this is Devil May Nap. They finally get to the action and it cuts away before he can do anything. Are these little stories that develop as he's helps people out really worth it? I mean you look at the OP and this show screams action, but the last few eps have been pretty much all talk and feelings, and now the even talking/feeling stuff is getting old and boring.

    Aye. It seems to me this series is wasting potential at a record rate. Considering this is a 12 eps series and nothing at all has happened in the first eight episodes, you can only ask what the hell they were planning to achieve with all this?

    yeah, this series lost me back at episode 5. The story has no real direction, and considering the material this show is derived from the action is just weak. It had potential, but they just wasted it.
