When I played DMC3 for the first time, my impression of Dante was that he was Michelangelo from TMNT in the body of someone who can't be killed(The pizza, the surfing, hyperactive, his speech). It makes sense to me that he seems so bored now, he's been killing demons since he was a teenager and hardly any fights are challenging to him anymore. Except those with Virgil, as was already mentioned. What made DMC3 fun for me was that you could actually do a lot of those over-the-top moves from the cutscenes. Anyway since this is the older version of Dante and he's basically seen and done it all, I'm not surprised by his demeanor so far. If there's a way to get back the Dante that was an adrenaline junkie, they could always do some flashback episodes to his early years.

Don't know how conclave feels, but aone's never really cared too much about licensing.
Well, they used to drop anime licensed by ADV. Sometimes just resorting to simply mass releasing the series IRC-only. These ones come to mind:
Mezzo DSA (mass release on IRC)
Gantz (dropped)
Chrno Crusade (dropped)

Its not bad but Dante just dosen't feel right he doesn't seem to be having fun when hes killing devils.

Well, maybe it isn't much fun... The way I see it, he probably does it to pay off this debt he has and then continue living on Strawberry sundae and pizza with no worries!
I know it is really early to say this, since there are only 2 eps uit, but I really hope that it won't be an episodic series. It's cool so far, but it doesn't feel like DMC yet..
I understand that we'll most likely see the Devil Trigger in the last episode, but I miss the vibe atm..
But I'll give it time, cuz I'll continue watching this anyways
