Well, I didn't really wan't to start an entire new thread to discuss, so here it is.
First of all, I like the name of this chapter. Chapter 323, The Judgement of God.
All I can say is ... OH SNAPS HAHAHAHA. He forces defeats the enemy by hurting himself, and in retrospect, what ever gets damaged on his body in his "ceremony," gets damaged by everyone of his enimies.
This guy is crazy, I love it =D.
Edit: For some reason I was waiting for someone to say AMEN!!! before they attack (^_^ too much Hellsing for me)
Hidan's badassidy meter just went up. I guess to perform his ritual he needs the blood of the person he's going perform it on (just a theory based upon what's been seen so far with him licking it off his sythe). Curious to see how it works if he just hurts himself or if he just lets the other person do the work for him.
Seeing as everytime he performs the ritual he leaves a path of destruction I wonder what else happens. Are all of the jutsu magnified back to the user? Guess we'll have to wait a few more chapters to find out.
Can't wait to find out what his back story is. Also what jutsu did Asuma use when he was breathing was it supposed to be some sort of poison or acid or was it just fire?
seemed to me like it was some sort of explosive powder that he can blow at the opponent and ignite.
anyway, hidan just became so much cooler. when the pair was first introduced i was like, meh, another random super strong ninja. but now with this freaky power and that creepy ass skeletal face hes awesome. I hope the other guy also has some intresting story.
Hidan looks like some sorta shaman or necromancer.

Hidan now looks like the guy with the face paint who attack Dick Grayson when he stole the batmobile in Batman Forever. Which means we're in for some really crazy shit.

I think Asuma's going to die. To kill off Hidan. I think it's probably dmg self, heal opponent, or heal opponent, damage self jutsu or some shit. Probably Asuma needs to self-suicide to kill Hidan.

Wow, certainly in interesting jutsu he has there, and saying sharing the pain together.
He was hurt, but he's not really injured, or attacks don't really phase him or slow him down. Especially the two fatal ones in the sides. It's like he doesn't have a nervous system or any organs.

Okay, this is a longshot crackpot theory... but....
Hidan is gonna end up getting stabbed in the dot on his forehead, and then it's gonna get blocked by Asumas forehead protector so he survives.
Why would his forehead protector block it? Simple.
The theory is that to hurt his opponent he opens up the curse with the ritual, then uses the guys blood to get his scent, then, having the opponents scent, he encases the opponent in an aura of chakra, whenever Hidan is attacked, the chakra aura reflects the damage onto the other person too. Thus the damage is comming from an outside source, and thus it can be blocked by a forehead protector.
this is kinda irrelevant but i saw this video and in the last 10-20sec it had an interesting part in naruto ive never seen. it could have been doctored i dont know but you tell me lol. its like in the last 10-20seconds so bare with the vid which isnt that bad anyway.

Hmm... that scene was pretty cool, regardless of being edited or not.
Anyway, as for the manga, wow. As it's already been stated, Hidan is becoming a really cool character. Asuma is kind of annoying me for some reason though.
You guys do know that the scene that guy put in there is from the OVA that came with the Narutimate Hero 3 game, the Genin vs. Jounin thing.
What I thought about this chaper is as everyone else has said Hidan is totally badass! I can't wait for the next chapter to see how Asuma's team deals with him.
Well if it gets to the point where Asuma self suicides himself and hidan i highly doubt that shikamaru and the other two guys will be able to stand a chance against Kazuku

this was a really good chapter though finally seeing these guys fight instead of the sceane changing right before. i was looking forward to see whats up with the training though.
why does everyone think he's so great?I don't, the coolest thing about this guy is his hair if anything,lol
and anyone who can't die is not only cheap,but also because he has no "real" jutsu to use and instead just has a giant butter knife on a chain,is lame and not really a ninja.
