Nothing much in this chapter, other than a view at what the enemy is planning and scheming.

Nothing much in this chapter, other than a view at what the enemy is planning and scheming.
The enemy seems like an overanalyzing type of people. They are only aiming to kill one swordsman, a group of gunmen, and kidnap a girl - not rob a country's gold reserves or something else needing half a year of planning and multistep processes.
Indeed, he's doing a bit of overanalyzing... but you're discounting the Elements Organization which is bigger and more powerful than we are seeing, which is what he discovered and what he's really interested in. It's like he doesn't care at all about the task at hand, which is correct in your oversimplification... kill the swordman, and kidnap the girl from the group of people protecting her at the moment. Still, he's more interested in that Organization. And assuming they succeed in getting the girl, knowing what that organization is all about and their capabilities is quite important.Originally Posted by Kraco

Yeah. It indeed seems now like the geezer isn't actually overanalyzing but exceedingly thorough.

Edit:
This chapter was such a tease. I liked the colored pages though, and the last double page looked really good.

It has to hurt to jump out of the car like that...
It'll be interesting too see what that dream was all about. Surely it was more than an ordinary nightmare, considering we are talking about the seer.
You are here alone again
In your sweet insanity
All too calm, you hide yourself from reality
Do you call it solitude? Do you call it liberty?
When all the world turns away to leave you lonely
This will all be about evading from now on. No way Mamoru can fight all those zombies and the sniper with Haruka around.
He wasn't fighting much in the first place. With Haruka around, he has a chance to escape at least.
Peace.
He doesn't even want to fight the zombies. The sniper obviously would be a different matter. He might actually be able to fight a lone sniper even with Haruka around, but since there's no way to know it would be just the sharpshooter, it's probably not worth the risk. Assuming they could evade the zombie horde to get to that building.

I enjoyed this chapter, though this whole thing got resolved a bit too easy and quick... that genious strategist is a complete coward.

Wonder where this is going. Don't know what to make of the Elements Network yet. A little time jump here... wonder what happened in it.
It seemed to me the Elements was ready to jump the gun with Mamoru, but apparently nothing happened, considering the time jump happened. Or perhaps it was because Haruka was with him. It was his job to guard her, so if she was there as well, it's not like he would have fled from the job.

New character introduce. I hope he gets his head chopped off. Anyone else?
Not really. Dying is not a big deal for arrogant hot shots like him. He should be saved by Mamoru instead. Yeah, that would really humiliate him. Having his ass handed to him would be great as well.
I wonder what sort of power-up Mamoru got. I never really thought he needed any. There are simply limits to what a single person can do.
Peace.

Really enjoyed this one for some reason. Haruka's expressions in the chapter were pretty good. Surprise ending for Mamoru... looks like he'll be majorly pissed off next chapter.
I'm beginning to think training cannot be called training in Japan unless it involves fighting bears in the mountains... I'd wonder if Haruka seriously went through that, but then again considering she was with Mamoru, she probably did.
Haruka = Loli Moe Meltdown.
I have always loved her faces, but this chapter just went to a whole new level.
Peace.
