Yeah watched it almost 19k people in torrent atm, very cool to see.
My perverted Sannin showed up when I saw that thing from that thing and that thing.

I thought it was a pretty interesting episode. From watching the intro/outro i'm not really looking forward to the movie though, the only thing that caught my eye were the costume changes.

I don't know about higher quality, but it seemed to be story wise decent enough so far. It looks like a bit of a detective arc, which is a good sign as such, because it could indicate serious script writing - a concept that has hardly fitted in the same sentence with fillers in the past.
And I didn't mind seeing Inner Sakura again... That has always been pretty funny.
It's also a fine detail how Neji calls Hinata Hinata-sama. They live in their own microworld with their rigid family and clan relationships. Things like this strenghten the individuality of the characters.
When Shikamaru gave everyone they're assignments I could totally see exactly what he was thinking.
"Allright, I'm gonna take the two retards with me so I can make sure they don't screw up the investigation any."
Best part was the new outfits in the movie clips. Sakura with a bare midriff ftw!
i don't know why, but i actually really liked this episode.

We didn't actually saw him eating Ichiraku Ramen though, since he gave it to Naruto.
Hmm yeah.. maybe he's just been faking the eating of ramen all along and he's really a badguy!
*sigh* The movie looks very happy happy family movie.. I miss the times when Naruto was about life and death and people getting mauled by eachother.. and.. and.. *sniffle*

Finally I'm able to watch Naruto again, I been waiting for this ep since I saw the title for it last mth and it didn't let me down. The way all the Jounin and Chuunin's just woke up and rushed to Tsunade's office was cool. No way the trap master killed himself before having his heated meeting with Naruto to confess why he did it.

Yeah, wasn't a terribly bad episode... actually kept me somewhat interested for the entire time, something I can't say for some of the other fillers.
The movie doesn't look great though. It seems like there's another 3-man-totally-cliche team of badguys, Naruto acting like an idiot, and the introduction of a kid who I can already tell is annoying as hell.

i guess they actually "feel sorry" for all the crap we had to endure for all this time.
for a filler, it was pretty good and it seems like a decent way to smooth itself into the non filler stuff (and hopefully no more fillers for a loooooong time)
Chances of that are slim.
The manga has enough chapters to fill... three seasons, tops, so they really won't have a choice but to resort back to fillers at some point.
Finally, this was definatly a good episode after all those horrible fillers. But, I found the intro quite slow. I cant wait for next week episode.
This ep wasnt good for filler.
This ep was AMAZING period. It actually beats some of the non-filler eps.
It had that perfect blend of bringing back old times and reuniting old friends. From all the jounin rushing off to fight on red alert (Hokage assassination), to Shikamaru and the rookie 9 (plus 2) getting taken out of the main fight for an important side mission. All I have to say is I want more.
It should be rookie 8 + 3, not 9 + 2
But yeah... I liked the ep. The part with the Jounin's was good.
And in terms of animation, it looked decent, but I found the ANBU too "big" compared to Naruto, Chouji and Shikamaru.
Oh yeah... wasn't Inner Sakura's scene a deja-vu from when Sasuke says shes below Naruto back in the Wave Country Arc?
