    Port Forwarding problem.

Hi guys, Im dragon (old GW fourms member), this is my new id because i forgot the email i used for dragon. Anyways I have a problem with my ports.

Im using an ActionTec MI-424-WR Router. And i portforwarded ports 1000-Any (err the end of port range) TCP and UDP.

My Utorrent is currently using port 20000. When i check to see if the port is forwarded propery using the Utorrent's provided port checker it says the port isnt forwarded properly. Im using ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite and i alloted Utorrent and Utoorent's site. and Its still saying that my ports arent forwarded properly.

I hope you guys can help.

    Thanks in advance

according to what I can see from portforward.com's guide on that router, the "Any" is destination port for a source port. So like, if you wanted to allow traffic that was coming in from port 1000 to any port.

I'd say follow the guide here for a better idea of what you should be doing.

Well, you could reset the router, and put in the default one, which I think is 'admin - password'.

are you sure you're entering the right default password?

... 'cause it's different, depending on the router manufacturer, and such.
