That dude doesn't look cute at all, but who am I to argue with you about your tastes.
That's Chris Hanson....from to catch a predator
So, she was a grand strategist. If that's really the case, she should have a few good ideas about how to defeat Jura, even if not a foolproof one.
Aside from the princess disturbing the already muddled Eclipse plan situation, I can't say overly much would have happened in this chapter. But Gray's next fight could be interesting. I hope it gets a bit of exposure.
The plan for defeating Jura will probably be ganging up on him. That or this last round will be interrupted by some bulshit reason.
Chapter 306 - Unlimited Blade Works
Gray v Rufus....quite possibly the shortest worst match up ever. I have the ability to make up ANY POWER. Uh......SHOENEN HEART!!! C'mon at least pretend like his being a main character isn't the only reason he won >_>
It certainly was made to look too easy and short, but I don't think there was otherwise too much wrong about it. Rufus's power is a haxor power anyway, bypassing any training by simple knowledge (the theory of playing piano is exceedingly easy, but it's lots of work to actually acquire the skill, so knowledge is only a corner of the whole thing). There are great many things in this world, and more so in the world of magic, that can't be comprehended by simply knowing how it's done. Gray confused the dude with such a thing and then finished him off with something he had neither time nor the will to memorize in his arrogance. Gray has fought enough with Natsu to know how to keep his ice together against fire.

Seriously, there's always a crazy powerful new bunch of people appearing out of nowhere. It's only natural nobody has ever heard of them before, despite the fact they are among the top mages. Oh, well, at least it makes sense the monarch has to have a secret weapon against his enemies, although it makes no sense people aiming to take over or destroy the whole world are free to roam around as long as they don't visit the monarch's basement. In fact this Garou Knights gang likely isn't any secret executioner crew as much as they are just the previous unlucky group to fall into the inescapable dungeon.
More importantly, I wonder if what's-her-name resembling Lisanna will play a role later. The Eclipse plan calls for a celestial mage and this girl or Lucy were the candidates. So, Fairy Tail could potentially screw the whole thing by having Lisanna infiltrate the place in this girl's stead. I guess it could happen even by accident in a goofy story like this.
> Nah brah it's cool i sent him to a "special place".
This manga is garbage.

It's best not to expect a surprise such as that they all wouldn't be meticulously paired to fight the most suitable opponent, without a risk of being interrupted by others. This was, seriously, too blatant. The very beginning looked more interesting with the chaotic setting of everybody present. I guess it would be the time for Lucy to learn to summon the spirits even without keys, but maybe this fish dude isn't serious enough an opponent for such an advancement.
These past chapters have made me feel like nobody in power in that kingdom knows what their colleagues are doing. They all think they are working for some bigger plan, but then an associate appears to kick them in the nuts, revealing opposite action. Zeref must be laughing in his lair - well, he would if he wasn't so emo.
Surprise.....they crushed them without any effort. Has there been any fights that have more than a 3 way back and forth rally for victory? Seriously, the fights that have been introduced had been: display random undoubtedly powerful enemy, enemy attack seemingly formidable, fairy tail reaction, power of friendship, enemy bewilderment and cap it off with a fairy tail one shot. End fight. The longest battle might have been right before acnologia showed up in the fight with hades (i think that was his name) the second FT guild master. I read this manga for fights and now they are beginning to suck....I know I don't pay to read this but I just feel like the quality of this manga has severely gone downhill

To be honest this executioner team never had a chance. They had pretty surprising magic at their disposal, but they should have been able to finish the fight immediately to win. And they couldn't because FT wizards have seen and experienced too much for such surprises to work against them, coming from mages not powerful enough. Failing to do that, these fellows were out of luck and out of their league.
Still, I'm not trying to dispute everything you say, but this particular fight went as it should have. Logically thinking there's no way some never heard of gang of random mages from the cellar of a castle would pose any serious threat to Fairy Tail.
True. Enemies have just been getting really hyped up and then crushed. The same thing happened with the "godslayer" magic and the magic users from saber tooth
That's true. Fairy Tail is really sticking to the shounen textbook, so I don't think it can be avoided. At least with Sabertooth we did get an explanation of a sort: While the mages were individually top class, their guild itself was so miserable that there's no doubt it was holding them immensely back. The hype was pretty much their sole support (discouraging certain enemies, but never the likes of Fairy Tail). Otherwise they had to live with the knowledge that if they failed even once they would get humiliated and kicked out of their own guild. Failures tend to teach much more than easy victories, so it's understandable the wizards of Sabertooth would be hard shells but nothing within.
Anyone know about what chapter the anime is on? Was thinking of starting the manga too.

Kagura was pushing Erza quite well, and she didn't even unsheathe her sword. Luckily Jellal has good ranged magic, and speed magic, so he shouldn't be slaughtered immediately, should Kagura ever manage to find him. Although I wouldn't particularly mind a scene much later where Kagura attacks Jellal, only to be stopped by Erza jumping in the middle.
Not awfully lot happened yet in this chapter otherwise. I first thought it was the princess who opened the door to the dungeon, but was it the person whose face surprised Jellal earlier, since the princess was shown to be elsewhere and quite occupied? I can't anymore recall exactly want kind of a robe that one had. I thought earlier the one who surprised Jellal was some kind of a dimensional drifter from another timeline altered by the Eclipse plan.
This manga is aptly name fairy "tail". It's a hidden softcore porn/hentai. This is just the epitome of fan service. The next chapter is titled "threesomes".....really?! Really?! Come on. Im all for it but subtlety went riiiight out the window....
Anyways, at least this fight will be really interesting! Hopefully they tag team Minerva then kagura goes down.
