Chapter 292 is out.
"Here comes the Dragonborn!"
All I could think of when I saw that last page. That ... and the Skyrim theme song.
Smiling Smash!
For some reason I was always under the impression that they were also Fire and Iron.
Not that I'm surprised but this is boring. They're getting their asses handed to them when Natsu and Gajeel is barely using any techniques and then the secret trick is to use Dragon Force? Natsu pretty much use that whenever he wants to anyway so they'll just get owned again next chapter or the one after.
Actually he's never been able to activate it on his own, always needed a magical boost from something else.
That something can be whatever though, the fact that the good guys win by asspulling shouldn't come to a surprise to anyone who's red more than 10 chapters of this.
What asspulling? Sabertooth doesn't look like a real guild that would develop anyone in a balanced manner. Fairy Tail, however, has had to go through a number of very varying lethal situations and fight opponents most mages wouldn't dream of in their nightmares. There's little reason to expect these two upstart dragon slayers would have experienced a quarter of what Natsu and Gajeel have. They might have fancy techniques at hand (for whatever reason), but they are like green soldiers with fancy hi-tech weapons against battle scarred veterans with trusty tools and tricks they know inside out.
It's not even about main characters winning through "asspull".
Like Kraco said, they difference between the two side is just too great.
Natsu and Gajeel looks like they're barely even trying. At this rate Natsu doesn't even have to activate Dragon Force in order to stomp them.
Another thing is we don't even know how strong their "Dragon Force" is. It's pretty much a shounen staple that a tool is only as strong as its user and these two doesn't even looks like they are competent enough to fight the Oracion Seis
This arc has the same feeling of One Piece Mermaid arc for me. None of opponent so far really seem like an actual challenge for FT, most of the difficulties so far came from artificial barriers created by the plot, so it's just kinda boring.
Well it's not boring for me. I like watching super arrogant pretty boys get their faces mashed in the dirt. These guys haven't been complete jerks but it was time for them to get paid back in full. What I can't believe is that they killed their dragon counter parts. I think they either let them win or they also vanished but in the middle of learning their dragon slayer techniques. Being that they were the light and shadow dragons, they probably assumed they killed them if they disappeared in front of them.
Brilliant storytelling.Oh noes, we loze
Lol now we ownz
Oh noes we loze some moar
Lololol we ownz again
A lot like Dragonball Z no?
Lol, that is by far the dumbest sob story ever.
"oh noes, my cat is being bullied" > "I must beat a dragon slayer, that will show em"
It's just funny because he was trashing Fairy Tail for making friendship speeches (The true power of this manga) and he pretty much pulled a random one from his back story.
It's pretty much confirmed that these two will join Fairy Tail after this arc, so we just need to wait for Natsu introductory ass-whooping next chapter.
