At first I was annoyed by the sudden break from the main story, but this quickly won me over, and not because of the fanservice but the jokes. Although I can't deny the fanservice having been jolly good as well.
Jellal certainly got more than he bargained for, in a good way.
Hiro Mashima just wanted to give us a happy chapter before another sad chapter..
I just hate Jellal.

Yeah. But too bad they are clearly only secondary characters. I have a feeling that's the only reason why they actually manage to do it in this story.

I'm surprised that we get enough traffic here to even warrant any attention. I always figured they'd go for the major online reader websites or download first, but some of those are still up. It's even more odd that they targeted Fairy Tail manga specifically and ignored everything else.

This chapter sucked balls.
I mostly agree. Maybe Mashima simply isn't so good at delivering it, but the "mysteries" he's now building left and right are annoying. Many of them don't feel like proper mysteries to begin with with the kind of presentation he has. What is worst is that in the mean time nothing is going on.
Other than that, Sabertooth is falling short of any expectations. It would have been hard to believe any out of nowhere guild could have really grown stronger than Fairy Tail during the seven years, yet still it had some potential. But with each chapter it's becoming more and more hollow. Maybe it was nothing but a facade, or a tool, for the Eclipse project and the tournament, who knows, but it should have had more mass.
I hope the guild master dies. He was a douche.
And here the whole time I thought that one Knight was going to be the main villain of this arc.
Oh and did Natsu lose all his powers so he won't be able to go all out for the battle royal or is this just a temporary thing for now?
