    Humm, haven't seen either but my guess for the first one is Kino from Kino's Travels ~the Beautiful World~, and the second one some character from Haibane Renmei, maybe Rakka the main character I guess.

    Well, since I haven't seen the anime, that'll be it for my guesses. Man, I'm trying to do one myself but taking out the character is annoying, plus it ends up looking like shit.

    I only watched about 4 eps of Haibane Renmei but if it's the leader one then its Reki.

    Here, I tried my hand at it. Mine looks pretty good without the white borders. That, and the image is too light so they look terrible. I just traced the outline with a new layer and filled it with the bucket in PS. The borders I tried might look better if I wasn't doing it all by hand.

    It's a pretty obscure series that wasn't given a whole lot of attention. It's pretty enjoyable though. I'm amazed it's licensed at all.
