Episode 12: Welcome to the offline meeting!
I really like the way this episode was done..Satou is fighting his hikikomori while the rest of the company is preparing for a mass suicide
next ep is gonna rock!
Yeah, I really liked this episode, he's trying to start a 'revolution', but the people he is on the island with wont have any say on the matter. He gets them in the end, but then realises what this meeting is all about.Originally Posted by Harima Kenji
It would be cool if Satou started calling them pathetic or something, I would laugh.
That would be awesome .Originally Posted by kAi
Satou, the superhikikomori, telling suicidal people that they're pathetic.. just pure gold
i doubt he could be considered superhikikomori... Seriously, he's been on more adventures with other people in these 12 eps (a month?) than most people normally do.
last ep was really nice though. can't wait for the one after.
Episode 13 was the best ep so far..kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time..can't wait for the next one, hopefully we'll find out what Misaki's objectives are with Satou.. we got some info in this ep, but not the whole picture..
How many people here are watching this series, anyways? I'm getting the idea that not many ppl here are following this amazing series..
haha wow that really wasn't what i was expecting to happen in this episode. I kinda had the idea he was gonna say some pep talk with them to make them not suicide!!! haha guess we really shouldn't expect any heroics from satou in this show... -_-'
yeah we did get some info about misaki's objective "you're important to me because ur more pathetic then me" what on earth....well misaki didn't say that exactly but it was something along those lines...thats kinda odd but it'll be interesting to see where it'll take us with taht hehe
mnn i kinda get the feeling not very many people are watching it either...like i did think that the first two episodes were a little full on, my friends woudln't watch ouran high school host club case they only saw up to the twins forbidden love lol =/ first impressions count!
it is always the darkest before the dawn...
Well, I'm pretty sure there is many people watching this series, it's just that they aren't talking about it.
This episode was great, I also thought that Satou would be the one to stop the suicide, being the one that didn't want to kill himself at all. It was funny, when everyone decided not to kill themselves, the only one that didn't want to wanted to at the end.
It's funny that he gets himself in these positions so much worse, as he plays along with it, even though he knows what it's doing.
With Misaki saying those things about herself, the episode that came to mind was the one where they meet up with his mother and Misaki says something along the lines about Satou's mum, being better than her. This has reignited the theory to me about that she might've already have had a kid, but gave it up or something along those lines. Although, I think that someone said it was the translation that made it sound that way.
Well, she did call herself a stray dog, so she might not have any friends and can't really make any if the person isn't more pathetic than she is.
wow... I wonder what turn this series will take next.
Finally! A more normal ending...
What happened to my favourite ED!! It was the only one i would watch everytime i'd watch the show! I was even singing along!!!... maybe i could splice out the new ED an put the old one back!!! yes! that would work!Originally Posted by Church
on the show. I really think Satou wanted kill himself from the beginning. i mean he WAS going along with all of it, and it wasn't him that stopped the chain. In the end he actually admitted to himself that dying with his sempai was better than living without.
on the other hand, it seems that whenever a woman asks him to do something he does... this would show how far he'd go
Episode 14 - Welcome to Reality!
Is anyone else following the NHK manga?
Episode 15 Oyasumi

Finished watching episode 14 and 15 earlier, nice couple of episodes.
Also seen that Misaki was probably abused alot when she was younger when she was with her father and mother maybe, is what I gather from the scenes we saw from when Satou raised his hand at her. They only tell little things about her, we're slowly getting more information about her as episodes go on.
Satou gets into the MMORPGs, and becomes even worse than he was, heh.
Seems he gets over the games pretty quickly though, if you consider the name of episode 16.
I haven't been following the manga, is the anime following how it goes?
I really liked ep15, it kind of reminds me of some people I know...
I didn't really care for the whinny monologues in the previous episodes, they didn't really seem to fit in. However, 15 was a great episode, it was good to see Satou back to himself.
Well not really, they are both based off of a light novel, which it seems no one has read so I don't know where the manga differes from the novel. It has been said however that the anime follows the novel more, they both use the same story line just what the charaters say and do is a little different.Originally Posted by kAi

Episode 16 - Welcome to Game Over!
Wow...I think this was my favorite ep so far. The way the emotions were so extreme really made me feel his pain, and that glimpse into the potential future almost made me puke. The way Satou fell so far and hard into the game I wonder what he would have done after Yamazaki's revalation if not for that chance phone call...
This reminds of a (and only) southpark episode I saw not too long ago... I found this episode to be very funny, though it was kind of obvious something like that was going to happen.
On a sidenote, we get to see more of Misaki's determination, willing to research and cosplay to help Satou.

Another awesome episode, I love this series it portrays characters so well.
Both Yamazaki and Misaki are really trying to help out Satou on many different occasions, but he throws it back in their faces.
Satou really got involved in the game, but what happened here was not all that false either, the sad thing is that it does happen. The thirty year future thing was bad, at least that's not going to happen, or will it, dun dun dun.
Now, an old high school classmate has done a chance phone call and he meets up with her, she has changed quite a bit from the photo that's in the year book.
Excellent episode. I wonder if Yamazaki purposely made Mia to look like Misaki...
