I actually dont mind the change, at first I did but I think its bringing some freshness to the show. It was starting to get a little stale with the focus on vince all day every day.

I thought they ended it pretty well.
I thought I read somewhere before the first episode aired this season that this would be the last season, but then it got renewed... I was thinking they wrapped things up pretty much.
I really liked the finale.
yeah I didnt notice that till you said it but this woulda been a suitable series ending
We started out with something happening at 4 now Entourage is freezing.
Since this is an Exchange account, create a new Identity and let Entourage sync back up to the server.
I kindaaa see what hes trying to say. But seeing as I dont remember which season 4 was I cant really argue or agree.Originally Posted by GuitarCrazyo
I think things will "sync back up" next season, returning to the previous format of mainly following vinces career. Which I personally liked a bit more now that I think about it, it gave the series a lot of suspense. This would be the perfect time to come back to it, if they had just kept it goin like that season after season it woulda been boring by now. But since they switched things up for a while, while still keeping it interesting, they brought it to where we can have all that suspense brought back stronger than ever to build up to a worthy finale where vinny reaches that top tier.
I enjoyed the first season on HBO but then I couldn't watch the next 4. Now they're showing it on Spike cable tv but if the commercials are an indicator, they're going to bleep out all the cursing and most likely either blur the nudity or cut those scenes entirely. I wonder if this series is still worth watching without all of the cursing and sex.
One of the commercials shows the legendary "get the fuck out" scene from Ari:
but they edit it to "Get out".
“For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?”
it seems like they're able to get away with more and more on tv nowadays... but I'd really worry about how badly they chop up this series.
I have them on DVD... but... so much of the show revolves around weed, sex, and vulgarities.
yeaahhhh it was god awful. they didnt cut the bong hits but they cut out like half the dialogue or just warped it to the always awesome lips moving to the curse words as they say something lame
I'll just rent the DVDs from Netflix and see them in all their HBO FCC-unregulated glory.

No one that started the new season yet or are you just watching it silently like me? Thought it was time to revive this thread. Specially after the last episode. Sasha Grey. What a treat. And Vince getting to hit that. Bet she is the one that is teaching Vince a thing or two in bed. And loved the awkwardness with Eric and Sloan's anal thing. Drama just sinks lower and lower in his depression. And seems Turtle is gonna get the help he needs from Vince. It was real good to see Turtle doing good for himself. To bad the drivers service didn't work out. Hopefully this tequila deal goes great for all involved.
And love Ari getting left hanging in the bedroom. Twice. Probably the highlight of the episode. He really had to work his ass of.
I been watching. The season started incredibly slow thats why I didn't post anything. But the last couple episodes are picking up fast.
I love where they're going with Vince's reckless abandonment. The tequila thing might prove to be even more substantial to the main plot then expected. If Vinny keeps this Sasha chick by his side getting him to drink tequila for breakfast he might start down a real dark path. How awesome would that be?
So glad Turtle's original business venture proved to be a bummer. That couldn't have gone anywhere interesting. I was sick of it in the first episode in the first minute. I don't think turtle belongs taking up more than a couple minutes each episode. I get that they had to build up to the tequila plot but if they keep giving him all the time they did in the first 3 or 4 episodes it really drags along.
E finally got his awkwardly funny scenes I knew he belonged in, adding sloan into it makes it even better. And drama is the deserving co star of the series now, sometimes even taking the lead. Ari.... well Ari has always been my favorite but he's starting to get old. I don't really care what happens with his company anymore, they shoulda backed away from him this season. But they were prob too afraid to since everyone praises his performance.
whatttt.....vince is a coke fiend! crazy shit. loved the ep. and ari got fucked over as well.
btw, what was the song playing at the end credits?
Vince's personality's been annoying the shit out of me in recent eps.
I agree, Vince is a complete and total mess right now. I think we'll be seeing him just go downhill from here, and possibly go to rehab or something, like so many other celebrities.
He finally gets a movie offer, along with a renowned/respected director, and he goes and screws everything up like that. He's so nonchalant now. Sasha Grey is really messing him up.
Its a perfect change of pace for this show. Vince was almost always the guy you agree with and the nicest guy on the show. Now along with being the show's protagonist that you wanna see do well, he's also his own worst enemy and the antagonist.
i loved seeing Leonard with E and the other guy. he has a surprisingly deep voice.
This is show is really worth watching...
