A decent episode. Pretty much what could have been imagined would happen, but depicted in a good way. But at least it looks very much like the fight is finally over. It certainly lasted long enough. There was still some dragging in this episode, but phasing wise it of course was wiser to still use a full episode for this. Hopefully the rest of this arc will be just an outro, and Enel stays as incapacited as he looked at the end of this ep.

Great episode... I hope that this arc is really nearing the end, because the current arc was IMO just a little too long.. although the flashbacks really were a great addition to the story (even though I initially thought it wasn't)
Enel should just fall all the way down into the sea and drown or something..
His final form was a really nice idea

    ...wow...awsome. Just awsome.

I'm not sure the fights over, but god I hope so. That's the perfect "note" to go out on...BWAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA...*sigh*...

Golden Rifle eh...I swear, Luffy must have doubled his strength just since Enel stuck that ball on his arm. And that was probably like 15 minutes ago in anime time.

    I'm most pleased.

Also, I'm gonna start referring to Wiper as "Pell #2"

This really was a great episode despite some issues like the ungodly amount of flashback/reused fottage and the fact that wiper still seems completely uninjured after the initial damage done by the reject. Those aside Luffy was absolutely badass in this episode and there for me atleast can be no complaints about the moves he pulled off and the meaning everything seemed to have after the neverending buildup.

I'm guessing the Enel fight isn't over as much as I would like it to be it seems we may have 1 more episode before that happens. I'm definatly ready for this arc to end as it felt atleast 10 if not more episodes to long.

Wiper doesn't look injured cause he is the man. And DarthEnder you are correct, his level of coolness for a non main character is only riviled by Pell's.

heh, I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not, but my take on DarthEnder's comparison was that neither of them died or are dying when they should've or should be by story logic. Perhaps the kickback effects of a reject dial are just overhyped (or that of course, Wiper's will of steel gives him an unnnnbreakable spirit and body...! - voice italics with a deep baritone)

well hell he hit that thing with so much force, it not only broke the goldent ball on his hand, but knocked out one of Enel's teeth.

    Truly an episode of Remembrence.

Amazing stuff, I had shivers at the end there. Love this series so much.

I am still wondering how Chopper survived, seeing he got hit by that sword priest's ultimate attack which is apparently 100% chance of fatality. It's not as if he's some super-reindeer who can withstand horrible amounts of punishment.

Heh. Well, since he survived, he actually is a super rendeer, who can withstand horrible amounts of punishment!

Heh, Augery has it right, I was referring to the fact that, by the show's own description, he should be way past dead two times over, and he's not even unconcious.
