I haven't bothered to watch bleach in ages obviously the fillers are still going on but have things become anymore interesting by any chance?

That's true. As far as fillers go, there was much good in this episode. No boring, overly long dialogues. However, I think the stupidity of attacking the dolls instead of the masters is getting far too old and inane. Ichigo could have ended the fight in two seconds by chopping the dude's head off from his shoulders, but instead he just kept fighting the doll that could endlessly assemble and disassemble itself. The exact same thing as with the water things earlier. While this made somewhat interesting battle, I'm one who always looks for logic, and there wasn't a milligram of logic in this one.
I also wanted to point out how lame the girl bounto's doll is. Her weapons are alive? That's it? She might as well just be a shinagami.

I thought this ep. was quite alright, except for the fact that when Ichigo used his Getsuga Tenshou. well actually i think it was the second time inside the building. anyways, i think they made it seem really weak. cause i mean wasn't it able to carve though a mountain drunig SS. but i guess it's not to big of a deal, right?
And for the girl bounto. i think that it's a nice change from all the other bounto's doll. cause i belive that up intill now all the other bounto have had the same type for doll. what i mean is that they all could split up and reform. but i could be wrong.
why does ichigo keep insisting on taking back control of his body BEFORE the fight is over? and is it just me or is the mask getting bigger?
Hmm, well for Bleach I'd have to say their pointless filler's are actually non existant. (Well almost...) There are a few that are pointless to the story but are funny and interesting enough and give a bit abotu the next step in the story line..
As for this ep... It was a good part, although not as exciting as Ichigo and the gang going into Soul Society and rescuing Rukia, but for this filler arc to take up time for the main event, it is a good ep.
+Mizuchi: Yeah the mask does seem like it is getting bigger, also it hints a bit that Ichigo will learn to control the Hollow side of him sometime in the future... Perhaps or not? Idk?
Ichigo always seems to let the hollow run free untill the enemy is defeatable by regular Ichigo. Unfortunately this makes the Hollow very plot device-ish. Now I don't mind Zangetsu being a plot device source of power, but having the Hollow magically get Ichigo out of trouble is just bad, hopefully yor right Sasuke, and Ichigo will learn to harness the Hollow as he learned to harness Zangetsu.
Hmm... Although you can certainly see it that way, but the truth might be that the hollow form takes over when Ichigo's conciousness starts to slip due to wounds, overcharged stress and danger. And when those are alleviateted, he gains control once again. So, the hollow basically has a weaker grip on his body, and is only able to appear, when Ichigo's human side gets considerably weaker. It's like the personification of his id, that appears when he starts to lose his wits. But the bottom line is that the hollow side still uses Ichigo's body, so there shouldn't be anything the hollow can do, but Ichigo can't. It's just a difference of skills. That's what Ichigo should overcome, not control the hollow.
Also, Ichigo still hasn't truly learned how to harness Zangetsu. Only the hollow side knows that, which is quite interesting, though not surprising, since it has been shown many times over.
For a second I thought Ichigo used a reiatsu bunshin, which would have been over the top.
The episode was enjoyable by the presence of the oh so lovely hollow-ichi. However, it seems that now Ichigo will have to go Bankai and save the day, but then again, they did send out 4 more Shinigami. Next few episodes seem to be flashback, sigh.

that hollow is so much more interesting to watch, like i was just painting up a scene of him in my head of the hollow instilling fear into the bountu by just continually tearing up that annoying doll and waiting for it reassemble so he can shred it apart again and again and again!!!! muahahAhAHaHa

yeah hollow ichigo pretty much kicks ass. he reminds me of alucard. too bad ichigo always takes the mask off after a few secs. i dont really understand why. i guess he finds it embarrasing that someone else is fighting for him.
He doesn't find it embarassing. He just doesn't want the hollow taking over. Plus, he wants to "prove himself" by using his own power.
