Lol, that one cracked me up inside. Captured Haruhi perfectly.
Nicely done man.
Edit: I still can't get over the Saber/Levi one though, that was really well done man.

Excellent work indeed! Not only can you draw so well but you could also emulate the style so well it looks exactly like C.C. Damn good work. And a very nice concept altogether.
Thanks! Im glad that you guys like it.
Peace.
BUMP.
After more than 7 months, I finally get around to making a new piece.
(Nudity)
C.C. The Slave
As usual, I did both the sketch and colouring.
Comments and criticisms are welcome.
I can post a larger image without the pattern BG if anyone wishes to use it. The lines are a bit messy though, since I scanned it directly from the pencil sketch without inking.

Thanks shinta|hikari for the sig.
Been awhile seen your last update but.....what can I say....the waits been far more than worth it! =D
You...have some pretty mad skills there Shinta, I'll be honest, envious right now.
<3 for C.C.!

Thanks for the comments! I'm glad you like it.

*coughs* I still think you should make a tutorial or something on how you draw them. Maybe how you do the cell shading, too. But that one could be just for me
You'd get lotsa love and appreciation >.>
If you put it that way...
I'll think about it. I'm not sure if I can pull it off properly though.
Peace.
I find enough challenge in fixing existing pictures for desktop background use, so it's always quite an astounding thing to see drawings like that. Well, of course all the pictures must come from somewhere but still...
Jolly good work! And a very appropriate setting for the new C.C.!
Thanks for the generous comment! It makes it worth making despite the trouble.
Peace.
Post more soon, please? Even line art would be fine, so we can all.. get some cool previews of what might be coloured next? <.<
Actually, I was already planning on doing a couple of sketches and colouring them, but I simply don't feel like doing them anymore, or at least, anytime soon. Why? Because I got this rep:
While I understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I really would have liked it if this person wrote his comment on this thread so that I can address it properly. This is obviously not constructive criticism since it does not even clarify what specific things should be improved (aside from the word "proportion" of god knows what). Add to that the fact that it is anonymous, then it seems like it is the work of some talentless artist trying to take his frustrations out on someone.
Since I have already gone this far, I hope that if whoever wrote that rep sees this, he/she will identify him/herself. Bashing someone's work like that and simply hiding in the shadows is simply cowardly. Either way, complaining about proportions for anime style art is stupid, especially if most of my work is from Code Geass (which I bet everyone will agree is extremely stylized in terms of proportions).

you draw for yourself and for the people who like your works and not for those who don't like them.Originally Posted by shinta|hikari

that aside, I think you really should improve the proportions a bit (even though he said it the wrong way, he has got a point there), imho C.C. is not *that* thin and probably that's the reason why she looks a bit... let's say "unfavorable"(?).
for example the santa-pic:
I personally believe that her arms and shoulders are too thin, but don't worry, I couldn't do something like this myself... so who am I to complain about your works?

I was trying to get the original art style when I did those, but maybe I overdid it a bit. Anyway, thanks for the comments!
I just did a new one, with C.C. and Lelouch in it. I kind of got lazy in the middle of doing it since I came up with a new idea for another C.C. drawing which kind of distracted me from finishing this one, but oh well.
Where the hand cannot reach
I toned down the elongated limbs on this one (though of course they are still there, since it isn't code geass art without it). I hope you guys like it.
And please, this time, I request that the comments and criticisms be constructive, and well, not rude and anonymous at the same time.
Peace.
T_T oh noes.
You shouldn't listen to him/her just because they don't agree and obviously.. don't care, because they decided to send you an anonyous post to be a jerk. Other people still love to see your new drawings >.< Like me D:
It's just a faceless flame(?) to make themselves feel better for putting someone else down.
Don't punish everyone else! But I can wait.. at least I know something will come in someday (hopefully in bulk?)
Wow Shinta thats just amazing. I'm curious about Lelouch's expression though
Dreaming impossible dreams.
Sapphire is awesome!
You did the folds and the overlapping clothes really well. Gosh. The clothes look really nice and intricate. You should do more clothing stuffs like that >.>
and.. we all secretly want a tutorial? *coughs*
Thanks for the comments!
Spoiler:
Actually the expression is kind of based on his current situation (one of hopelessness), and the title is from the latest episode. I always believed that his despair will be alleviated by C.C., hence the pose in the picture. I tried to add tears in, but it didn't look good.
@Jaitne - I'm planning to make another C.C. drawing next for another translation project I am currently doing, but maybe after I can try making a tutorial. I honestly have never even thought of making one before, and I am very hesitant since I am not sure if I can make a decent one or if it will even make sense.
Peace.
I bet it'll make more sense than reading this one pattern I found. :P plus it gives you some more work to show off!Originally Posted by shinta|hikari
