    Naruto OVA 3: Jounin VS Genin

    Naruto OVA 3: Jounin VS Genin is a piece of OVA anime (not broadcasted on TV) for Naruto which came together with Narutimate Hero 3 when it was released for the PS2.

    The basic plot is, from what I gathered when playing the game, that Naruto and his friends need to find a bunch of crystals for whatever reason.

    And yes, this will most likely suck balls.

    Regardless, this topic is intended to discuss it whenever it gets subbed. The raw has been out for a while so I guess it's just a matter of time. A group has released a HQ DVD version of it which is available on Tokyotosho, but I don't think it's subbed so I won't bother supplying a link. (It's also near 2 gigs in size)

    Other than that the only sub available is in finnish. If anyone here happens to know that language, then knock yourselves out:

    i'm downloading it just to see how it is (too bad its in finnish)
    and btw.. i had to add .torrent after download the file because it was .avi.avi (no .torrent at the end...)

    anyone know where i can get the sec ova

    actually wait i dl'd an ova but i dont know which one it is. its when they go to th hidden village of hte waterfall. was that the sec or first ova?

    anyone got a link to teh first ova?

    or is teh first one the movie?

    and i jsut realized they just did anotehr season. totally forgot. now that were on 177 i gotaa burn 151-175

    and i seriously hope that 26 week of fillers thing is a joke. it better be anyway, otherwise its gonna decrese popularity of naruto

    Are you speaking about the trailer? That I can do, the OVA I won't try to translate, I don't want to watch it without sounds (as I earlier said my comps pretty fucked up right now...) I can translate the trailer as soon as I get it.......

    Damn it, BioAlien. Why do you get much better download speed than me, even though you are in Canada, and most of the peers are here in Finland. This doesn't make any sense.

    Well, to speak the truth I'm in no hurry to get balls sucking filler quality anime... The most interesting part of this will most probably be to see the quality of the subs.

    That is correct. Sometimes (like now for example) I kinda wish we swedes learned finnish the way you finns learn swedish in school and stuff.

    there finish downloading it... at least its the same quality as the anime, too bad i can't read a shit from the sub

    this "ova" last 25:48 min

    but the problem is.. that sasuke is still in this one...

    This is a bloody strange download for me. I got the first 37% at a speed of ~110kB/s (I had limited it to that at max). Then it dropped to bloody 5kB/s, and stayed at that for a long while. At some point it apparently got back to a higher speed for a short period so that the percentage suddenly rose to ~70%. And now it has been again staying at 5kB/s. I don't know what the hell is going on. But it's quite clear I won't be posting my report any time soon.

    Oh, well. Such is life and torrenting.

    that happens to me sometimes, i suggest that if your using azureus that you stop the download and exit azureus and try to downlaod it again after 30 min or so

    This may have been really crappy, but you know what, I could have watched an entire season of filler based on this plot.

    A thinly veiled excuse to have every ninja in Konoha thrown down against one another. It's brillient, and wasted on a one shot OVA. This should have been a filler arc. If they filled it with moments like Neji vs. Asuma, then it would have rocked!

    Plot is pointless in filler! A good excuse to have an endless string of fights is all you need!

    um, i've downloaded the OVA from that mininova.org link but when i try to run it in VLC media player, after about 10sec or so i get an error msg and VLC automatically shuts down. This is a first for me actually its never happened with any other episodes. did this happen to anyone else when they were trying to watch this episode?
