You could see she acted on impulse (when doesn't she?), and just came up with a reason later. It was certainly jealousy.Originally Posted by oyabin
I watched the completed movie episode (was episode 1 in the original run), so it's funny seeing how those scenes were made.
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
Not too excited about these episodes, I thought the movie episode was a really really poor episode and don't really care about the making of since it doesn't really bring anything new. Though after Endless 8 it's easy to accept anything they give us as good.
Still is Haruhi though, amusing.
Respect the joindate, not the postcount ;P
Being the fanboy that i am, i'm not gonna wait a second longer
I honestly can't tell how into this show you really are.Originally Posted by Archangel

It's mostly Haruhi fanboyism, but i love watching the show tooOriginally Posted by Buffalobiian
I guess Endless Eight made it hard to tell -_-
Another ep of filming next week too? Gah...
Is it just me or did Haruhi's abuse go from amusing to just plain abusive and not much fun to watch?

Nothing but crappy raws out, so SD again.
Even the HDv2 last week was shitty. I've been archiving Yuki without watching them, so I don't know if they're any different.Originally Posted by Marik

Haruhi can certainly be a bitch. I really don't see how Kyon was equivalent to what's-his-name. Kyon was actively involved in the filming process even if he was reluctant. What he did was giving Haruhi a piece of his mind when things went too far. The other guy complained about others' work while doing nothing. Not equal at all.
It was cute seeing Haruhi try the pony-tail trick to win Kyon back, even if it lasted for all of 0.2 seconds.

Is it because Kyon is the narrator or is it possible that in fact all of this is Kyon creation?
All the story is based on the assumption that Haruhi is the cause for problems/abnormalities.
But for some reason, lots of things really go Kyon's way (like many fantasies he has with Mikuru)
He's the one to always be bored, with a negative mind, always taken to very entertaining events by Haruhi. But Nagato, Koizumi and Mikuru only really interact with Kyon only, they never really directly talk to Haruhi or so it seems.
Why is Kyon so important? is it only because he's the only one Haruhi talks to?
All the things I really like to do are either illegal, immoral, or fattening. And then: Golf.
They don't talk to Haruhi because they don't want her to realise she's got godly powers. She's subconsciously wanting things, and they happened. If she found out about that, she'd remake the world as she sees fit, because she can. The "common sense" that's kept her fantasies unknown to all but the secret organisations (aliens, time travelers, espers) is because she believes they can't really exist, but she still wants them to. If she knew about her powers it would become
"I wish they'd exist, and they CAN exist, because I'm God."
Part of the reason they always explain to Kyon is because he doesn't have all the backup and intel the rest have. Koizumi has his worldwide esper organisation. Nagato has her Universal Thought Entity thingy, and Mikuru has her <<Classified Information>>.
Kyon doesn't know anything, but his actions can influence how Haruhi feels and acts because he's the only one she really cares about (and wants to bring to a new world if she ever created one), so he ought to know what consequences his actions may cause.
For example, if he hadn't apologized this episode and made Haruhi emo, though it wasn't the immediate or sole reason he said what he said.
